Meet Doodles - A gentle girl who'd love nothing more than to walk through life by your side!!
Doodles is currently with one of our partner rescues in Mississippi awaiting a foster or adopter to bring her to NJ.
Doodles is a gentle soul with a sweet disposition and a lovely way of making herself part of your day. She's the kind of girl who enjoys simply being by your side, walking alongside you and keeping an eye on whatever you're doing. She doesn't need to be the center of attention to be happy; sometimes just being near her people is enough!
But this sweet girl has a playful side, too! Doodles enjoys toys and affection and has a gentle, eager-to-please personality. She's also a smart cookie! Food motivated and already familiar with several commands, including sit, move, yes, and no, she's even learned to wait patiently for permission before eating her meals. With her willingness to learn, continuing her training should be a fun and rewarding experience.
Currently weighing about 20–25 pounds, Doodles is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog of approximately 50–60 pounds. She has a moderate energy level and would enjoy a nice balance of walks, playtime, and relaxing with her favorite people.
Doodles is friendly with new people, gets along with other dogs, and is good with children. She isn't house-trained yet, so her new family should be prepared to help her learn those important puppy basics with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement.
If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will happily walk by your side and be part of whatever the day brings, Doodles may be your girl. She's ready to find someone whose favorite place is wherever she happens to be!
Come meet Doodles and discover what a wonderful companion she can be!
Doodles is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Doodles has been spayed and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $600.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
