Our family is from Pennsylvania and breeds Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. As a little girl I had a Swiss Mountain Dog that I absolutely loved. She was a dog that I could trust and knew she would never hurt me. She was gentle and kind and I have so many memories of my childhood with her. When I started my family, my heart always wanted one, but I knew that where we lived was not the best place for a large dog. We moved to a farm and decided it might be a good time to have a dog. My husband and I were looking for a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog for awhile and he finally found one and he surprised me on my birthday. We have loved having her ever since. She has lots of room to roam and play here. The children are making many memories with her.
