An F1B Aussalier is a designer breed created by crossing an Aussalier (which is a mix of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Mini Australian Shepherd) back to our purebred Cavalier for a softer temperament and fluffier coat. This generation typically brings: • A sweeter, more “Cavalier-like” personality – very affectionate, gentle, and family-focused. • High intelligence and trainability from their Aussie roots without the full intensity of a working dog. • A soft, wavy to lightly curly coat that is often low-shedding or reduced-shedding. • Compact size, usually 15–25 lbs, making them great house companions. • Playful but not hyper—they enjoy activity, but they also love cuddles. Overall, F1B Aussaliers are known for being loving, loyal, great with kids, and adaptable to many lifestyles.
