We are sharing our love of American Akitas with our first litter of pups in our home in Munroe Falls, Ohio. As of week 3 eyes are opening and those wobbly legs are gaining size and strength as the pups start to explore the world beyond the welping room. All pups have been vet checked with high marks. We are not a commercial breeder as we plan only 2 litters from our Akita Roxy Reynell. Roxy is ACA registered with a strong blood line. The sire is AKC registered Takahiros Last Dragon Rampage with 7 Champions across 3 generations of pedigree. Roxy is in her third year and has been a blessing to the community as we hike the nearby Metroparks with great enthusiasm, meeting and greeting people and pets sharing her calm and friendly temperament. Roxy is the center of attention as there are so very few American Akitas and only a few breeders in our region. We regularly visit two nursing homes where Roxy is dearly loved by the residents. We are focusing on raising calm, loyal companion dogs rather than dog show trophies. In any case we are only caretakers for these pups for a short 10 weeks are elated to get the puppers out into the world for socialization.
