Finger Lakes Swissies is located in the Finger Lakes region of Western New York. We are a growing family of 4 who began our search for the best family dog years ago, when we discovered the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog breed! They are affectionate, gentle with small children, and protective - a perfect fit. Our two Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, Aspen & Bo, are beloved family pets who live with us on 11 beautiful acres near Keuka Lake. They love to roam our acreage and truly relish the great outdoors, even in seasonally frigid update NY. During the search for both of our sweet dogs, we found it difficult to locate many Swissy breeders in general - but especially quality AKC breeders who had a reasonable approach to adoption. Our aim is to spread our love for the breed while providing quality puppies to those who are looking for the same wonderful companion. Our family heritage comes from Switzerland and it is an honor and a pleasure to help carry on the breed’s posterity here in the United States!
