We live on our family farm here in north central Wisconsin and enjoy living off the land and keeping our days as simple and uncluttered as possible. We love growing things in our garden and raising chickens and a steer, along with having horses and dogs for our pets. We have two dachshunds, Bessie and Mort, and a Cocker Spaniel, Mandie. Occasionally, we choose to let them have puppies, and thoroughly enjoy the process of raising them, playing with them, and eventually finding good homes for them. We keep up to date with the mandatory rabies vaccine, but otherwise, have decided to stay away from general, routine vaccinations for our dogs, and choose discreetly any of them that would be of benefit for our area and particular situation. Our dogs look and act healthy, and do not have any known health issues.
