3/4 Karakachan, 1/8 Anatolian, 1/8 Pyrenees (grand dam was mixed) (grandsire and sire were registered Karakachan.) These dogs were bred hoping for better longevity, less hair, and an even temperament. As an older livestock breeder for over 45 years, I could not find a LGD with these qualities until I acquired my girl Ophelia:)
