Smokey Hollow Farmstead takes great pride in capturing the essence of the Anatolian Shepherd Dog. Our goal is to only choose the best possible genetics and characteristics that will improve the overall quality of the breed. We deeply respect this ancient breed. We owe our stock to them, without their courageous protection we would not be able to keep our livestock safe from predators without persistent daily efforts. They make raising goats, chickens, and pigs as easy as it could be, and honestly those animals would be lost without those dogs. We have two Dams and one Sire who are Purebred AKC Anatolian Shepherd dogs, their immaculate bloodlines featuring some of the most well known Breeders and top quality pairings. We put months worth of research into finding well bred puppies from top reputable breeders in the Pacific Northwest, and even considering breeders from the East, as far as Diamond Acres Ranch in Arkansas. Our Anatolian Shepherd Dogs are the heart of our farmstead, we are extremely proud of them.
