Description:
I fell in love with this elegant breed and its ancient history, and got her first Pharaoh in 2003 and brought her to California. Showing her own dogs, "Simone" was a 2 x Best In Show bitch, CHCDC Shalimar Wind Mia Neon Moon, SC. Simone won 3 Nationals at Pharaoh Hound Club of America and multiple Specialties with LaRee at the end of her lead. LaRee has been breeding since 2006, and her breeding program has produced 20 Champions, showing them to 3 Best In Shows, 1 Reserve Best In Show, 2 Best in Shows Hound Specialty, and Best of Breed at Westminster. She was Awarded Breeder of the Year by the Pharaoh Hound Club of America 2021. Shalimar Pharaohs have also achieved titles of CD, DC, CGC, BC, ATT. As a preservation breeder, health, temperament and conformation is a priority. LaRee is an AKC Breeder of Merit and Recommended Breeder of Pharaoh Hound Club of America. Now residing in Vero Beach, Florida, she continues to show and breed her beloved Pharaohs.
