Flynn was purchased to be part of my breeding program however genetic testing proves he is a MDR1 carrier. 1/2 of Aussies have this issue however my females are also carriers. That would put the puppies in serious risk. If you don’t know what MDR1 is, it’s multi drug resistance. Which means certain meds can build up in the brain over time and cause seizures. This is easily prevented with avoiding some medications. Especially those containing ivermectin. Veterinarians typically don’t prescribe these particular meds to working dog breeds as it’s so common. He is a sweet boy who is willing to please but needs someone that can work with him. He is crate trained and fully vaccinated. He wakes well on a leash and can carry a pack. He has a few bad habits like stealing food off the counter if he isn’t being watched. I feel that someone with time could make him the best dog as all he wants to do is make his owner happy. Would be willing to trade for another AKC Blue eyes tri that’s been genetic tested or a standard poodle.
