Posted Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Suki is our little old lady dog, at least 15 years old and ready to find a loving foster hospice home. She is sweet, loving and affectionate. She's lived a tough life and is just looking for a warm bed and short walks. She loves people but should be kept away from small animals and cats. Suki is a sweet girl who really wants to live out her sunset years in a home. Do you have room? I am up to date on all of my vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped. verifiedPosted Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). This is Sugar, an adult German shepherd who is just learning her way around the world. Raised alone in a backyard, she hasn't seen much outside so her new family should be willing to work with her. She will require a confident and experienced owner. Sugar can be fearful and unfortunately doesn't warn with a growl - she snaps. You gotta watch this so no kids - at least not yet. With some love and training, you can help her develop more confidence and teach her better coping skills for when she feels threatened. She is not aggressive, she's just scared. If you can work with this, you're gonna get a great dog. She seems to be a homebody dog and will benefit from a routine. She loves going for walks and sniffing around the yard. She is not the kind of dog who would like going on big adventures. Not now anyway, maybe later with more confidence. Around the home you will find Sugar a gentle, loving dog. She wants to be with you and will follow you from room to room often carrying her favorite toy. She loves her toys and won't destroy them. She is gentle enough that even our puppy can take the toys away. She mostly ignores other dogs but does play well with our puppy. They like to wrestle and to play tug. I am up to date on all of my vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $250. If you would like to meet me, please email for an application or visit our website mywayhomedogrescue.org to download one! My Way Home adopts in the Portland metro area only.

verifiedPosted Breed: French Bulldog / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Hi! I'm Cooper! My foster mom thinks I'm about 1 1/2 years old and a French Bulldog/Pitbull mix. She says I have really big ears and I'm shaped like a pit bull, but I'm pocket sized. Well, I might be too big for a pocket, but I'm not a very big guy. The scale says otherwise, it says I'm 48lbs! I had a rough start to life, losing one of my front legs because of a bad break. It hasn't slowed me down any though! I'm still a happy-go-lucky kind of guy! My foster mom thinks I used to not get food too regularly because I finish my breakfast so fast. But boy does it taste good, and so do the treats! I LOVE treats. I take them gently and my foster mom is teaching me these funny words, z "sit" and "crate". I've pretty much figured out "let's go"!, I think that one is my favorite. Whenever I need to go out, I stop playing and look at the front door or I go sit by the back sliding glass door while I wait for mom to join me. Foster mom says I do good in a crate (no accidents!), but I would rather join her and my foster siblings, so I like to tell her I'm not ready to be in the crate, but I settle in with a good toy! I don't like to share my kong or buffalo horn chew toys, so mom says I can have those when I'm alone. She's really nice and gives me kongs with peanut butter or plain yogurt inside. Boy, those are GOOD. I can slurp the inside for hours! I love everyone I meet and my foster mom says I'm a really good co-pilot in the front seat! My foster mom asks me what my perfect home is.. gosh, I'd love a home with a backyard to explore! And people who will snuggle me and rub my belly and the soft spot on my nose. That always puts me to sleep. I'd be pretty happy with just some people to love me. No small kids or animals (cats, birds, rabbits, etc) please. I can be sort of clumsy on three legs and I play pretty hard. I'm also still a bit of a puppy and I can get mouthy when really excited. My foster mom says I'll be too much for the little ones, but older kids would probably be OK. My foster mom tells me I'm a pretty special little guy for being so happy after so much! I am neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, micro-chipped, and ready for a great home! Cooper will only be adopted to homeowners in the Portland metro area due to his possible breed mix. He is not suited for shared wall environments (townhouse or condo). My adoption fee is $250. verifiedPosted Breed: Jindo (Korean) / Mixed (medium coat). Formerly feral, this shy girl is Lady, a 4-5 year old Jindo mix who really just wants to be part of a family. She's a lower energy dog, content to relax around the house; Lady will benefit from a confident, experienced owner who has previously worked with shy dogs and can appreciate a dog who rather watch you from across the room than to cuddle on the sofa. Lady is still learning world-skills but has come along really well. She is indifferent to strangers. She doesn't like riding in a car but crates well for it. She likes walks but she's still learning to walk on her leash. Lady loves other dogs and is playful and confident with them. She also seems to learn from the example set by pack-mates so she will benefit from another confident dog in her pack. I am up to date on all of my vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $250. If you would like to meet me, please email for an application or visit our website mywayhomedogrescue.org to download one! My Way Home adopts in the Portland metro area only.
