    Breed: Bull-Boxer

    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer / Bulldog / Mixed (short coat). Scrappy 5 Years Young Older children only due to his size Big dog friendly High prey drive so no cats, chickens or pocket pets Boxer/Bulldog Mix 80 pounds of love Fostered in Astoria, OR People talk about Scooby Doo and Scrappy too. Well, I say there just needs to be ME and You. I am a lovable lug of a guy. When people ask who I want to be when I grow up, I say Hooch from the Turner and Hooch movie--crime detective dog who likes to ride in cars and slobber you with kisses. Scrappy loves all people and full on thinks he and his 80 lbs can climb right into your lap. Due to his size, older children would be a better fit because when he starts to play fetch and do zoomies, you might be looking at a Nascar wipe out with smaller kids around. He adores kids, makes a great pillow, and just wants to please. Truly his only faults are biological in the prey drive way. If it runs he wants to chase it. If it's smaller than him, he wants to get it. On our farm he is a tremendous help--from his photos you can see he is great in the work truck, knows how to inspect the honey bucket as well as framed in walls, he even assists with bed making. Sadly, the big guy was not cared for prior to rescue. His hair is growing back from the surgery to remove the masses, but the pressure points from laying on concrete in filth are not likely to regrow hair. From the severe confinement, he was weak in the backend, but he has been regaining that lost muscle mass quickly. As such, he now really enjoys a romp with the other dogs and is getting around easily. As a Boxer/Old English Bulldog mix, he is a drooler. But hey, who hasn't been a drooler at some point in their life. I mean 8th grade, night guard and braces. Just expect that you might get some wet kisses (really wet kisses). If you have ever thought of adopting a larger dog, Scrappy is your side kick. He loves the park, the couch, the bed, and certain four legged friends. This guy is ready for a furever family, so jump into the Mystery Van, head home and get the process started by completing an application today, here is the online form link bit.ly/WHBRadopt ww.Wigglinhomeboxerrescue.org Email: wigglinhomeboxerrescue@gmail.com Phone (360) 723-0219

    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Rocky IV 2 Years Old Brindle Natural Tail Dog Friendly Fostered in Newburg, OR My name is Rocky and at WHBR I’m Rocky the IV. Makes me sound important :). I’m a big 2 year old goofy, lovable bundle of Boxer. My foster mom say’s I’m a little like a bull in a china shop. I think that means she really likes me. I LOVE to play with dog toys, especially ones that I can chew. I am house trained and have never had an accident or tried to mark in my foster home. Although my foster home has a crate for me, I prefer to hang out free in the house when my foster mom is gone. I am a very good boy and haven’t chew anything that wasn’t mine for chewing. I’m a little bit underweight, so my foster mom has been feeding me regularly and giving me extra training treats, so I’m starting to gain some weight. I am a good eater and I WELOME treats. My foster mom makes me go for walks with her and I won’t lie, it’s terrifying at first. That big old yellow bus is really noisy. And, the garbage truck too. Once we get on to the side streets, I calm down, and although it’s still scary, I do walk nicely on a leash. Mom’s great ‘cause she gets my attention and reassures me when I’m really scared and talks me thru it. I know sit and shake, but I get so excited that I get all wiggly. Mom says it’s all that bottled up puppy in me. I would like to go to a home where someone is home most of the day, and because I’m so big and playful, a home with older kids would be really nice. I love other dogs and would enjoy having a fur brother or sister. I’m not sure about cats. When I see them while we are out walking, I’m usually too afraid of all the noises to pay much attention. But they might be nice to play with too! And, I love watching the squirrels in the yard from inside the house. I am a young, quick learning, healthy doggie, looking for my forever family. Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Ebbie 5 Year ’ s Old Reverse Brindle 66 lbs Fine with Older Children Crate Trained Fostered in Springfield, OR Hey all, my name is Ebbie (well, it ’ s actually Ebony due to my shiny dark fur, but I prefer to be called Ebbie, because it ’ s cute, like me). Prior to rescue I was bred — A LOT, probably too much — but now I am officially retired from motherhood. WHBR is making sure of that. Because of my past life, I am not very patient with male dogs. Females are alright as long as they don ’ t want to be the one in charge. That is kind of my thing, I like being the queen. I feel like I have earned that right. I do have another fur girl here in my foster home. She is a bit of a diva like me but we do coexist peacefully. During the day, all the people here leave and go off to work and school. I am content to hang out in my crate, snuggled in my nice soft blankets until they return. Mom says it ’ s important for me to be in my crate because sometimes my manners aren ’ t so good, and I don ’ t wait to potty outside and on occasion I have eaten a slipper or two. When folks get home, Mom and Dad take me and the other girl for a nice long easy walk around the neighborhood. It helps get my energy out. I am super excited when the family returns for the evening as I have missed them so much. Sometimes we go to the place called school. It has a big field and that is where I am working on “ sit ” and “ down-stays ” . I am getting good at the sit! I am also working on “ wait ” at the door and before I eat. As I said before, my manners need some polishing. Mom says I am much to pretty to be acting so wild! In the evenings, I LOVE to relax with the family. My absolute favorite thing is having my ears rubbed. My second favorite thing is a good rump-scratching! On the weekends we play a lot. I love to chase the ball but I can only do it for a little while because I have a very sweet, but also very short, snout and breathing can be hard when I exert myself. My family lets me run errands with them too and I love car rides, especially if they involve going to that really cool place that gives me that delicious treat called a puppicino … YUM!!! If you are ready for a beauty like me in your life, you should fill out your application soo n, I ’ m told folks are falling in love with me left and right. http://tinyurl.com/WHBRAdoptApp www.Wigglinhomeboxerrescue.org Email: wigglinhomeboxerrescue@gmail.com Phone (360) 723-0219

Posted Breed: Boxer / Mixed (short coat). Duke 5.5 years ruling his land 75 pounds of Lordship Fixed Cat and Dog friendly Non-Hyper household preferred Fostered in Bend, OR Greetings, I am Sir Duke or Duke for short. I am a very distinguished older gentlemen and act most properly around fellow animals and humans. I am pretty happy go lucky even though ruling my foster mom’s house can be exhausting so I tend to nap a lot when I am not keeping her company while she drives me around on her many errands. She very much enjoys my company in the car and at home. She allows me rule the roost and I have claimed every couch as my very own throne. I also have a special bed on the floor that is all mine and I sleep there at night. I have a female four-legged companion at my estate. We romp in the yard, play with toys, and most enjoy hanging out together. I have other 4-legged attendants; here they are called kittens or cats for short. We have limited interaction as I really cannot be bothered by them and all they do is sleep all day until the human is home, then they want to be petted. They are SO demanding and I am so chill. When it’s time to do my royal business, I alert you know by letting out a sort of whine. I’ll even wake you up at night if I have to go. I apologize in advance if I wake you up from your slumber. I am not a fan of walking on a leash because it makes me look like some weird puppet but I will wear a leash with some encouragement. To be honest, a back yard is all I really need. I can entertain myself and a companion. You’ve heard stories about princess being locked in a tower? Well I am not a big fan of the tower called a crate. I don’t really need one since I am so well behaved. I love to romp around but my eyesight is not so great. I will get a little anxious around loud noises or if I can’t see something. I will most certainly let you know if someone comes calling at your door and then I will love on them. If only they had Lasik for dogs I’d be golden… well I am golden. I have a whole body covered with golden hair which blends in nicely with whatever decor you may have. If you are ready for a retired royal fellow please send an inquiry since the post office will take much too long and I’m in high demand due to my royal status!! http://tinyurl.com/WHBRAdoptApp www.Wigglinhomeboxerrescue.org Email: wigglinhomeboxerrescue@gmail.com Phone (360) 723-0219

Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Frannie 1 Year Old White Female Natural Tail NO CRATE Deaf Fostered in Chinook, WA My name is Frannie and I am in search of my forever family. I am a very sweet girl, who is a tad shy until I am sure you will be kind to me; then out comes the charm. At a year old, I’m all about playing; however, I am past that "crazy puppy" stage. My Kong and tennis balls are my keepin’ busy favorites. Long walks with my foster siblings are the best! We go to a huge field where I can run "zoomies". I am very good about staying with my foster siblings and my foster parents let me run free, sorta. They always have a 20 foot lead attached to my collar for safety, as I am deaf and long distance recall can be challenging. Car rides are the best, I usually lie down and take a nap. However, my foster parents are working on teaching me not to bark when I see people outside the car or at the gas attendant. I would do best with older children. I have a beautiful natural long tail and I love to wag it! My foster mom says, it feels like getting hit with a stick...she is kidding. But, seriously my tail wagging might not work around toddlers and young children, plus I cannot hear them if they are behind me. I am working hard and learning with my foster family. Using the dog door to go out for potty is pretty easy, unless it is raining. I must confess, I have piddled where I shouldn’t because of the rain a couple times. The notion is beginning to sink in that rain or no rain, always go outside. There are always great Kathy cookies when I do it right, so the right things are the best things to do. My foster folks are the best and they are teaching me to trust people. Being deaf isn’t easy and I’m just now learning hand signals. Previously, no one understood me and I definitely didn’t understand them. In the few weeks I have been in my foster home, I’ve learn to respond to some hand commands, when I get it right I also get a cookie. I do not like a crate. I will chew on it until I hurt myself. I will bark, I will Howl, and I will do this until I have myself worked up into a state of anxiety. Foster mom says no crate. I get to be free in the house when my Foster parents are gone for a few hours. I will occasionally counter surf, but not always. If things that I like, aka human food is put away there are no issues. My foster siblings are there to keep me company and I follow their lead, they know exactly when everyone is coming home. I would love to have a family of my very own. It would be best if my new family had experience with deaf dogs. We require more understanding, work, and patience. We want to please you we just can't hear you. I was not shown much affection in my past life, so my new family needs to help me build confidence and understand it may take a little more time because of my lack of hearing. I cannot hear your happy voice so you’ll want to make certain I can see your happy face. If you are a family with knowledge of deaf dogs and can see my potential, I will make you an amazing family member. Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Tyson III 3 years old 60 lbs ish Brindle with lots of white that's ticked House trained Great with teens, not well tested with younger children Likely best with female dogs but regardless proper slow/calm intros are a must Crate trained Cats are a work in progress—the right cat and the right situation...maybe Rides well in a car Basic obedience skills Wonderful on a lead Fostered in Vancouver, WA They call me mellow yellow, but I’m also know as Tyson or Tyson III at WHBR. I’m happiest laying at your feet while you’re working. Being in your space, near you, snuggling, and getting loves totally rocks my world. I adore my foster mom, and think my foster dad, and all the teenagers comin’ and goin’ from the house are all pretty great too. Speaking of house—previously, I wasn’t allowed indoors, it broke my heart not to be near my people. Now, I’m just so thankful to have everyone near me and a warm comfy bed to doze in. Mom says she is setting me up for success by not letting me have an unsupervised run of the house, until I’ve proven I’m well adjusted to indoor living. So, I sleep in my personal mini house (crate) when she’s away or when everyone is sleeping. My mini house is decked out with a comfy bed—so, so dang different from the dirt and grass in the backyard. I get my zoomies on once in a while, but that only lasts about a minute max. Add in a few short walks during the week and we’ll call it all good. I do well with my fur K9 siblings, but too much energy can startle me (dial it down, pls) especially, if we haven’t yet been properly introduced. There are also felines here. Mom says if the cats are calm/dog savvy, and I’m well supervised we will may one day be good friends. There are these other things called chickens, ha! their yard is smaller than mine, but they have to stay outside :(. I don’t pay them much mind, except to feel sorry for them—staying outside all the time. Mom says, I have excellent leash skills, a good stay, and I’m working hard on ignoring other animals when on a walk. She also thinks I’m pretty adaptable and that with time and proper guidance I could do okay in almost any home situation. Do you think we might be compatible? Raven 1 1/2 Year old Female/spayed Dark chocolate coloring Loves people of all sizes Craves Love Boxer mix (Stafford Terrier maybe) Needs to be an only furchild Fostered in Vancouver, WA Raven amazes us all with her love of life, loyalty, and dedication. Several months ago, instead being the puppy she should have been, she set it all aside, and did the right thing. Rescued from wondering the streets, she landed in foster care, and birthed a beautiful litter of seven! She briefly landed with what we thought was her furever family. Her need to be an only furchild has led to our search for the RIGHT family and home, where her needs will be met. This little girl is a tremendous loving pet for the right family. Being so young and having gone though so much chaos in her life she has learned a great deal. Throughout it all she has made it clear that she will not waiver on being YOUR one and only—we think she deserves that right. We cannot say enough about what a remarkable a job she did by her pups nor how great we believe she her to be! You need to meet her and let her show you herself. Posted Breed: Boxer (short coat). Sasha 4 Years Old Brindle Dog friendly Great on a lead Fostered in Oregon City, OR Hi I’m a sweet and mellow girl named Sasha. I’m looking for my furever home! It should come with a family that loves to cuddle and show me tons of affection. My previous family had to move and they were very sad I couldn’t go with them. I’m a pretty laidback four year old, but I have been known to throw down a rockin’ wrestling match and rapid zoomies with my foster fur brother. I arrived in foster care with a few too many extra pounds. My foster family is making certain I don’t eat more than I should and we are doing lots of walks. So, I’m doing well with shedding my extra pounds. Each day I’m getting more trim and gaining energy, so I can be active like I want to be. If you’re ready to get out and walk, I’m your girl and I’ll even get my leash for you. As soon as I see my leash, I’ll try to put it on. Then I’ll start hopping around to let you know I’m ready to go. Walking well is a piece of cake; I don’t even need a harness. I let my leash hang loose and I promise not to pull you. My foster mom is teaching me to not crisscross and to only walk on her right side. While we’re out and about, I’m curious about the other dogs barking at me and I stop and listen to them until my foster mom tells me to come, and then we’re on our way again. I’m not much of a toy player, but I’ve been seen stealing my foster brother’s Nylabones for a good chewing. I’m not much of a floor kinda girl, so I sure hope you like to share your bed and your couch, because I would like to share them with you. Before coming into rescue, I had to be crated for long periods of time, so I don’t prefer to go into a crate. I haven’t been left home alone in my foster home much because someone is usually home. When the humans have been away, I’ve been allowed to roam free with my foster fur brother. I don’t get into anything that I’m not supposed too. I wasn’t so sure about my foster fur brother when I first met him. I was a little slow to warm up to him but within a day or two I decided he was okay and we get along nicely now. In fact, I think he is a lot of fun as well as a a really comfy pillow. I like to go on car rides and look out the window. There’s a lot of interesting things to look at on our journeys. Sometimes, I get a little cautious about humans getting close to our car and our home and I like to voice my opinion about that. I’m an early riser and I’ll let you know by nudging at the bedroom door or jiggling the doorknob that I’m ready to go outside and start my day. I know my basic commands and I also like to shake your hand. My foster family would like me to be better about laying down when I’m asked, so we’re working on that. I cohabitate with a 13 year old human sibling and he let’s me sleep with him and my fur brother. I haven’t been around any small children but I’m pretty mellow and I’m not a jumper, so I think I’d be fine with them. That about wraps it up for me. So, if you think I’m the dog for you, I’d love to meet you and go home with you as my forever family. I am crate trained and mom leaves me out often, because I'm such a good girl while she's gone. This has earned me lots praise.
