  • Cavachon Dog For Adoption in Fargo, ND, USA

    Teddy

    rescue
    Breed: Cavachon
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Senior
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Bichon Frise / Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 200.00. Foster Feedback: 10/02/2017 Teddy is a sweet little old gentleman! He may be a little bit on the older side but he makes up for it with his good manners. He's a very polite boy who gets along great with his foster sister and he took to us right away. He loves to snuggle and prefers to lounge with you on the couch and chill! Teddy is house trained but at 12.5 years old sometimes he isn't keen on waiting...he has had one accident in his kennel and has peed by the door porch door (but that was our bad!!). He's also not a fan of his kennel and will bark a bit. Basically, this old dude is looking for a place where he can retire in style and he hopes you're the one! 11/02/2017 We are currently learning so much about Teddy! We believe he may need another dog at home to feel more comfortable when being left alone. Teddy likes to vocalize slightly when home alone in his kennel, so possibly having another dog around could ease that anxiety. Teddy also is an older dog, so his bladder isn’t what it used to be! Although he’s had only one accident, he likes to get out of his kennel and out the door right away to take care of business!

Posted Breed: Dachshund. Adoption Fee: 200.00. Foster Feedback 08/09/2017 This guy is starting to show some life. He woke up and ran to the door so fast the other morning, I was surprised! His treatment continues at Casselton Vet for the chiropractic adjustment and his laser and acupuncture. These are about every 4-6 weeks for less pain. He takes 1/2 a pill daily and is very smart in getting the pill out of the treat or pocket. He does not play much with other dogs, He's more happy laying on the outskirts of the yard or living room just relaxing. He continues to be at my feet or right next to me in the chair or bed. He still does not like to be kenneled, It's amazing how well he can climb up on the couch or chair when he hears me say "Kennel up!". He loves his treats and will go in his kennel when brought there. He has since found his voice now that we have a third dog in our house. He is learning not to bark at people outside the house and is a little timid of strange men. He is such a loving dog, he would benefit more being in a forever home where he can be the only dog or with laid back quiet dogs like him. He's a bit of a jealous boy when it comes to who gets the love, but isn't mean. 03/15/2017 Tama loves his favorite spot as close to my side as possible in my chair, or as he sleeps next to me on bed. He still likes being treated more like a human rather than a dog. He continues to have an occasional accident but for most part he goes outside. He still prefers a chair or bed over his kennel, but does ok with being carried to kennel and given treats, he appears quiet . When I return, Tama is ready to be held and given loving touch. He has his morning pills, a pain med and a fish oil to take, does this best with a small piece of cheese. He walks much better on leash than at first. He enjoys the walk as long as not too long. Foster Feedback 02/02/2017 Tama, is very passive He loves to sit on your lap or close to you. He is very fragile and anxious with kids. He does enjoy being with his foster sister. He loves chew toys ,stuffed toys. He is good at going outside for potty but does not go far and does not like the cold. He is very close to the ground so he gets cold quickly. He rarely barks but whines to get his needs met if he needs help in chair or up to you. He does appear to have pain when reached for or lifted up but when laying still none noted. He is friendly with adults and not as anxious as with children who want to hold or pet.

    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Great Pyrenees / Anatolian Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 200.00. Hi! My name is Lila (lee-la). I'm a fan of Despicable Me, so I will sum myself up with this phrase, "I'M SO FLUFFY!" I am a very sweet, excitable girl who LOVES attention and pleasing my humans. I am kid-friendly and love seeking attention from my foster family's 14 month old son. I don't discriminate - I love seeking affection from both women AND men. My family is currently working on me not barking for their attention, since I just love them so much! I don't mean to toot my own horn (but, BEEP BEEP!)... I'm kind of a smart girl! I know how to sit, lay, and shake. I'll even roll over so you can scratch my belly. I do have some resource guarding with my food, so I do need to be fed in my kennel. I love to keep my humans' feet warm at night and quietly roam around the house. I DO love my family and sometimes get so excited for attention that I jump up; but, mom says we are working on this along with my loose-leash walking (I'm just so curious about nature and smelling all the smells!), and occasional barking. I am crate trained and haven't messed in the house once - not even a tinkle! I do shed a lot, but mom says she needs to clean the floors anyway since I have 4 brother-dog house mates. A simple weekly brushing should help keep me looking fresh! I don't always see eye-to-eye with my human's big Greyhound, but the little dogs don't bother me, because of this, I would do better in a home with smaller dogs or no dogs until I’m more confident that my humans won’t leave me. I am very scared that I will not be loved and my family will give up. I'm a protector of my humans and their flock and tend to herd them around... "Round 'em up, little doggies!" I'm a little shy at first, but once we get to know each other, I will be your best friend! I'm looking for my forever home. Will it be with you?

Posted Breed: Rat Terrier (short coat). Adoption Fee: 200.00. Sprout is a smart pup! He is a quick learner and knows some basic commands. He also is pretty good at coming when called, but can have selective hearing depending on the situation. He also is familiar with pet doors! Sprout is good with children, strangers, and cats. He does have a fear of large dogs and will stay away from them. Sprout is a perfect lap pet and LOVES attention! If you think he'd be a good fit, please apply today!

    Breed: Papillon

    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Papillon (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 200.00. Foster Feedback: 09/11/2017 Meet Zoey , a 10-year-old papillon. Quiet, yet strong, she’s a lot like her namesake from the television show, West Wing. As a rescued breeding dog, she’s still learning to enjoy the things every pup should experience in life, but she’s very smart and learns quickly, especially by watching her younger foster brother, a spaniel mix. Right now, she’s learning how to walk with a leash, use the bathroom outside, walk up stairs, and enjoy treats! Exploring the sights, sounds, and smells of her fenced-in-backyard is one of her favorite things to do. She loves chasing and playing with her foster brother, but never roughly. For Zoey , the perfect forever family would be caring, kind, and patient as she learns. Apply to adopt this tender-hearted girl today!

Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever. Adoption Fee: 200.00. Hi world! My name is Clark and I'm just here for the kisses and food. I'm an old and VERY lovable guy. I've been on this Earth for about 10 years, but don't let that fool you. I have a lot of life left in me. I love to hang out by your side and just 'chill' with you... (that's the lingo the young ones are using, right?) I love cats, dogs, and all people! I especially LOVE kids. Since I'm a senior *eyeroll*, I don't really like stairs anymore. I'm very food motivated and would love to eat dinner with you... or just eat your dinner. If you think you and I would get along, adopt me! I think I would fit right in with you!
