verifiedPosted Breed: Pug / Shar Pei / Mixed (short coat). Let's welcome Roxy to Rescue Ridge! Isn't she just the cutest little thing? Roxy is a spayed, vaccinated, 5 yr. old, Shar Pei/ Pug mix who was brought to Rescue Ridge in central N. J. because her family was moving and could not take her. Poor girl. Roxy is a little skittish when you first meet her but then warms up quickly for some snuggles and huggles. She is in a foster home with cats and has no problem with them. She seems to be dog-friendly, too. Roxy could brush up on her leash training and a little extra potty training but is still a lovely girl. Would you like to meet this newest sweetheart? Please apply to adopt Roxy from Rescue Ridge at rescueridge.com and then text 732 546 8805 to meet her. You won't be sorry!

verifiedPosted Breed: Shar Pei / Pug / Mixed (short coat). My name is Zena, but I'm affectionately known as Zena Bean. Wagging my tail is my absolute favorite thing to do; and it's contagious, too! When my foster mommy gets excited, she even does a "zena wag" herself. I am an amazingly cute pug and shar pei mix. I am approximately 3 years old and I simply ADORE all people. I enjoy walks and even jogging with my foster mom. After a long walk, you can always find me airing out in front of the fan. I love the way the wind feels in my hair! I am fully vetted, crate trained and house trained. Did I mention I smile all time? I simply just love to be with my people. And, I am great with kids! The worst day of my life is when my family surrendered me to All Mutts Matter. They had a toddler whom I absolutely adored, but they said that I was "too much" for them. But I can't understand why too much loving is a bad thing! I wish they were able to keep me and love me, but instead, I ended up with All Mutts Matter. And, while I love my foster mom, I would really like to have a forever family that I can call my own! In the interest of full disclosure, I need to be an only dog. I do not like or get along with other dogs and cats. My foster mom thinks it’s because i was never properly socialized. I am a work in progress, and I am correctable in public. I am just not ready to co exist with another dog or kitty. I believe I will find my true happy ending with a wonderful family that I will spend the rest of my life with. Will you take me home and love me forever?
