Description
On June 4th Ben and Zena welcomed five rowdy boys and 4 sweet girls into this world. There are 8 sable and white puppies and one tri color. Zena is a shy flashy tri color English Shepherd that loves to patrol the property in search of intruding varmints. She is very loyal and a great watchdog. In her spare time, she enjoys teasing the rooster and helping with chores around the shop. Ben is a beautiful sable and white English Shepherd that keeps an eye on the livestock and when not busy helping his dad feeding the animals will fetch balls and sticks for whoever might take the time to toss them. Although neither Ben nor Zena have had much training to herd livestock, they both have shown the desire to and would have great potential. While English Shepherds are bred for herding, they tend to be loyal companions. Someone that purchased one of her puppies in 2023 commented that “I have had many dogs, and this one is the easiest one to train I’ve ever had”. The puppies will be vaccinated and ready to go at 7 weeks old (July 23rd). They are $250 each. A $50 deposit is required to hold a puppy.

English Shepherd
Overview:
English Shepherds have been bred for generations as all-purpose farm dogs. They are descended from the shepherd’s dogs of U.K and developed as a landrace breed in America. Their responsibilities have ranged from herding and protecting livestock, to dispatching vermin, to guarding the home and watching over children. Source: English Shepherd Breed Conservancy
