AKC FEMALE SHIH TZU

Have you been looking for love in all the wrong places? We are a small breeder of AKC registered Shih Tzus in North Florida, located between Lake City and Gainesville. We currently have one puppy, black and white male, available. We think Shih Tzus are the BEST dogs and we would love to share with you the many reasons why! I am a human medical practitioner and work frequently by telehealth. Our puppies are literally raised at my feet with tons of love and attention. They are extremely well socialized with kids, cats, and dogs. Our dogs are beloved members of our family. Shih Tzus have enough energy to go to the park and play with the kids, but then are content to crash on the couch and watch TV all evening. These dogs do NOT shed, so their coats require care either in the form of regular clipping to keep it short or daily brushing to keep it from getting knots. Our puppies have been thoroughly evaluated by a Veterinarian and passed with flying colors and have their first set of shots, as well as up-to-date on de-worming. They have correct eyes (not those wonky eyes you find with back-yard Shih Tzu breeders) and their parents both pasted health and genetic testing prior to ever being bred. Puppies come with AKC paperwork including a 5-generation pedigree, a Health Certificate, 30 days of free pet insurance, a bag of their food they are currently eating (Pro Plan Puppy for Small Dogs), toys that smell like their litter mates to help with the transition, and a blanket. I provide on-going support to buyers and I'm happy to help with first-time dog owners (yes, getting a puppy DOES come with challenges if you have never had one before). I do not hold puppies for buyers due to no-shows or excessive changes to appointment times. I ONLY take cash due to scammers. $675/each for limited AKC papers or $1,000 if you would like breeding rights.

Items Included: The puppies have had their first vaccines, are on a standard deworming schedule, passed their Veterinarian examination, and come with a Health Certificate, AKC puppy packet, and 30 days of insurance. I also include toys that smell like them and their litter mates, a puppy blanket, and enough food to easily transition them to whatever food your Veterinarian recommends. We feel Pro Plan, which is what our Veterinarian recommends.
