UPDATE 11.19.2025: 1 female pup remains to be placed to an approved home; all other siblings have been placed. The picking order is locked based on the order of which I receive the down deposit from approved buyers. "Picking" will not begin until roughly December 10-15 once the puppies have developed more of a personality. ----- Puppies were whelped the morning of October 26, 2025 and should be ready to go to approved homes ~December 19-21, just in time for the holidays! ----- Breeder of high quality, family Rhodesian Ridgebacks. ----- NOW TAKING RESERVATIONS (Kai x Zander): please contact me for inquiries. She is very much locked into the ridgeback mannerisms such as being independent minded during the daytime; though she still loves to cuddle up at night. Even through the years, she continues to chase her tail (see video in breeder profile) which shows her playful spirit. Additionally, her ridge is very thin, distinct, and perfect with double/symmetric whorls on the crown of the ridge! The thin ridge fur stands out among the ridgebacks I've owned and met over the years. It's exciting to get the opportunity to continue her line and I know her pups will be a wonderful addition to a few fortunate households :) ----- Zander: Another stunning, red wheaten ridgeback. Overview:
The Rhodesian Ridgeback is a distinctive and noble breed, originally from Southern Africa, where they were developed to track and corner large game, including lions. Their most striking feature is the "ridge" of hair running down their spine in the opposite direction to the rest of their coat. Physically, they are strong, muscular dogs with a short, dense coat typically in shades of light wheaten to red wheaten. Temperamentally, Ridgebacks are known for being dignified, intelligent, and fiercely loyal to their families. While generally good with children they are raised with, their size and strength mean supervision is always recommended. They are not typically suited for apartment living due to their need for regular exercise and a secure yard. Health-wise, the breed is generally robust, but potential concerns include hip and elbow dysplasia, as well as dermoid sinus, a congenital skin condition. With proper training and socialization, the Rhodesian Ridgeback makes a wonderful, protective companion for active families.
