Sandy Leopard Male. Born September 9th, 2025. Available to go to new home at 8 weeks old on November 4th, 2025. Pups will be up to date on vaccinations and dewormimg at time of pick up. Deposit to hold would be $350 with remaining balance of $400 due at time of pick up. We accept Venmo, PayPal and Cash. Deposits are nonrefundable. Parents are onsite. In person pick ups available or if ground transportation is needed we have a couple recommendations. Paperwork and proof of vaccinations come with pups at pick up as well. The Catahoula Leopard Dog is a striking and intelligent breed, originating in the southern United States, particularly Louisiana, where they were bred as versatile working dogs. Their most distinctive physical feature is their "leopard" spotted coat, which comes in a stunning array of colors and patterns, often accompanied by captivating "cracked" or "glass" eyes. These medium-to-large dogs possess a strong, muscular build, reflecting their heritage as agile hunters and herders. Temperamentally, Catahoulas are known for being independent, alert, and protective, yet also deeply loyal to their families. They thrive on having a "job" to do and require significant mental and physical stimulation, making them unsuitable for apartment living and best suited for active families with experience handling strong-willed dogs. While generally healthy, potential owners should be aware of a predisposition to deafness (especially in dogs with excessive white markings) and hip dysplasia. Proper socialization and consistent training from a young age are crucial for a well-adjusted Catahoula.
