Known for their outgoing and cheerful temperament, Springers are highly intelligent, eager to please, and generally good-natured, making them excellent companions. They thrive in active families who can provide plenty of exercise, as their hunting instincts necessitate regular walks, runs, or engaging play. While adaptable, their high energy levels mean they are generally not well-suited for apartment living unless their exercise needs are consistently met.
