Litter Description
Labrador retriever puppies just in time to promise for Christmas and pick up in January (or February if you want them potty trained). You're welcome to come visit until then! We have 2 chocolate boys, 1 yellow girl, and *maybe* 1 silver boy available. Their mom, Rocksanne, is an AKC-registered, pure-bred chocolate lab from Knoxville. Their chocolate dad, Rocko, doesn’t have any papers, but his previous owners, near Savannah, told us he’s pure lab. He definitely looks and acts like it — swims like a fish, runs like the wind, jumps high in the air, catches and fetches like a pro. Dad is super sweet, gentle, cuddly, loyal, and always at your feet! Mom is a smart, alert, and protective watchdog, and a dedicated mother. They enjoy roaming free in the woods and obediently come home when called (for a treat)… while their puppies enjoy the warm, cozy indoors. Since Mom and Dad were babies, we’ve loaded them up with healing raw, grass-fed milk, meat, eggs, broth, bacon fat, butter, cheese, fruit, veggies — pretty much all our organic leftovers. We've also used almost all-natural flea prevention medicines and methods and homeopathic dewormer. This is why we believe they are in such excellent health. We are asking $1100 each or $1800 for a pair to help cover the high cost of food, natural medicines, time and energy keeping these puppies healthy, happy, clean and safe, which will be a full time job for the next 8-12 weeks. We prefer them to be adopted in pairs (because they LOVE to cuddle)… or to families that already have a dog to keep them company. But as long as they won’t be left home alone all-day-everyday and go to loving families, we’ll be happy. Happy to send videos, answer questions, and arrange visits.

Overview:
The Labrador Retriever, a beloved and highly popular breed, originated in Newfoundland, Canada, where they were initially bred to assist fishermen by retrieving nets and stray fish. Physically, they are medium-to-large dogs, known for their strong, athletic build, short, dense, weather-resistant double coat (commonly seen in black, yellow, or chocolate), and their distinctive "otter" tail. Temperamentally, Labs are celebrated for their friendly, outgoing, and good-natured disposition, making them exceptional family companions. Their intelligence and eagerness to please contribute to their trainability, though they do require consistent exercise to prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. While adaptable, their energy levels make them more suited to homes with yards, or highly active families, rather than apartment living, unless daily extensive exercise is guaranteed. Regarding health, Labs can be prone to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and some eye conditions, so responsible breeding practices are crucial. Overall, their loyalty, versatility, and affectionate nature firmly establish the Labrador Retriever as a wonderful addition to many households.
