Billy is a sweet boy and is shaping up to be a big boy. We think he'd make a great hunting dog, his nose is always to the ground. Or he also likes to cuddle like the velcro dog he is. He's looking for his perfect family to start his new year off right. Hi my name is Billy. I can't wait to meet my new best friends and learn everything you have to teach. I am very smart and will be a very loyal companion. I am a male Silver Weimaraner. I will come with full AKC registration. I was born on September 4, 2025. I've had my dewclaws removed and tail docked. I will come UTD on all shots and wormer. I have had a vet visit and I have a grade 1 heart murmur, the vet said I should grow out of it and it's so small it doesn't effect me, the price does reflect this. A vet certificate will be included. Overview:
The Weimaraner, often called the “Grey Ghost,” is a striking and elegant breed originating in 19th-century Germany as an all-around hunting dog for nobility. Physically, they are renowned for their sleek, short, silver-grey coat and captivating light-colored eyes, typically amber or blue-grey. These are medium-to-large dogs, built athletically with a graceful yet powerful presence. Temperamentally, Weimaraners are known for being intelligent, energetic, and incredibly loyal to their families, often forming strong bonds and displaying a "velcro dog" tendency. Due to their high energy levels and need for mental stimulation, they are best suited for active families who can provide ample exercise and training; they are generally not ideal for apartment living unless those needs are rigorously met. While generally robust, they can be prone to conditions like bloat, hip and elbow dysplasia, and certain eye conditions. Their affectionate and playful nature makes them wonderful companions for experienced dog owners.
