Shadow is our calm, steady-hearted Bernese Mountain Dod stud, and he truly lives up to the "gentle giant" name. He comes from the wonderful Kentuckiana Poodles Kennel, known for raising strikingly-beautiful, healthy, even-tempered dogs for many years. His pedigree reflects generations of thoughtful, responsible breeding-and it shows in everything about him.
Shadow is large (85lbs), strong, and absolutely stunning, but what people notice most is his temperament. He is peaceful, patient and deeply loyal. He has that classic Bernese Mountain dog sweetness and a quiet, soothing presence that makes everyone feel at ease around him.
We are incredibly thankful to be partnering with Kentuckiana Poodles, using their stud dog, Shadow, for this litter.

Penny is our gentle, steady girl and the perfect example of a small standard poodle(42lbs). She has a calm, even-tempered personality that makes her a joy to have by our side, yet she still plays with our children in the sweetest, most patient way. Whether she's chasing pine cones in the front yard or stretched out by our feet, Penny moves through life with a quiet confidence and a kind spirit.
She's also truly beautiful! People stop us everywhere we go just to admire her. Penny has beautiful merle coloring and an elegant presence which draw folks in, and she loves every moment of the attention.
Here in the Piney Woods, Penny is more than our dog. She's part of our family, and the puppies she raises are sure to carry her gentle nature, intelligence, and charm.

The Bernedoodle, a charming cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Standard Poodle, originated in North America, aiming to combine the Poodle's intelligence and low-shedding coat with the Bernese's gentle nature. Physically, they are medium to large-sized dogs, typically possessing a wavy or curly coat that can range in color from black to tri-color, and is generally hypoallergenic. Temperamentally, Bernedoodles are known for being affectionate, playful, and highly intelligent, making them relatively easy to train. They are an excellent choice for families due to their patient and loving demeanor, though their energy levels mean they thrive with active owners and a good-sized yard, making them less ideal for small apartment living without sufficient exercise. While generally healthy, potential health considerations can include hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and certain cancers, inherited from their parent breeds. Regular grooming is essential to prevent matting of their beautiful coats.
