Key physical characteristics include a compact body, a small head, and their most distinctive feature: a long, silky, straight coat that is a striking steel blue on the body and tail, and a rich golden tan on the head and chest. Temperamentally, Yorkies are known for being spunky, intelligent, and confident, often displaying a surprisingly bold nature.
