Description
Hazel is our three month old miniature dachshund puppy. We have endeavored to have her go outside since about a week after we got her on December 12, 2025. She definitely knows to go outside each time we take her out which we try to take her out often, so she gets well trained. She’s doing well. The only reason why we are selling her is I was the main one taking care of her mainly (as the housewife) and I fell and broke my kneecap so I will be laid up or in an immobilizer for a couple months at least. This just happened. My husband has the total care of both of our dogs now in letting them out, but the puppy needs more care because she is small and needs to go out to the outside to potty more often because she is a puppy. Puppies can’t hold themselves long like our 8 yr. old dog can. so it puts a lot on him, caring for me, and for the puppy & her added attention in training her& time needed to give her attention. She is very friendly and just loves to be with people. She is energetic and needs attention which we can’t give her as much now. We have pics of both her parent dogs. They are 8 lbs( mother)& 11 lbs.( father). So Hazel should be somewhere in between w/ weight. She looks like her mother. She does good with grandchildren& guests. and she will be a lot of fun and will love the attention. We want her to have a good home.

Overview:
The Dachshund, affectionately known as the "wiener dog," is a fascinating breed originating in Germany, primarily bred to hunt badgers and other burrowing animals. They come in three coat types – smooth, longhaired, and wirehaired – and various sizes, from miniature to standard.
