Litter Description
I have a total of 8 puppies, born 12/19/2025 and will be ready around 8 weeks old on 2/13/2026. This litter has pups with shorter and longer coats as well as some black and some brown puppies. All still have their baby blue eyes, so I do not know if they have inherited different colored eyes. All have been 100% healthy and are playful, smart, and have shown no signs of health problems. I own both parents and they are my companions and learning to work (herd) sheep, cattle, and goats. It's hard to know for sure which herding traits the puppies have inherited, but I can already see personality traits. I can help you select the right pup if you let me know what you are looking for. You can reserve a puppy with a non-refundable $100 deposit through Zelle or Venmo (or cash). The balance is due when you in cash a pick-up. I have shipped puppies before, all shipping-related costs paid by the buyer, and would consider that again. Puppy Description
"Mini-Finn" is black with white markings, appears to have a long coat. He hass been the largest puppy in the litter until the 5th week and probably the most laid-back. He loves scratches, rolls over for them, and will paw you if you forget to keep scratching. He's so sweet but loves a good fight, too.

Their sire is black with tan point and a longer coat, both his eyes are amber. He has a powerful collie stare. Both of his parents are AKC registered but he is not as his breeder did not plan on breeding his parents as both carry the TNS gene (trapped neutrophil syndrome). He has been tested and does not carry TNS. He has strong herding instincts and favors herding cattle but is comfortable with any livestock. He has exceptionally intense focus and needs clear commands. He is a wonderful companion, very affectionate. He is shown here ready to play fetch (herding stance) and is in several videos.
Mother
Their dam is a brown border collie with heterochromia (one blue and one light brown eye) and a smooth coat. She is not registered but comes from a long line of companion-working collies working sheep and goats. As a herder, she is excellent at coordinating her behavior with mine and very attentive to my commands. She prefers to work the sheep/goats rather than the cattle. She is a great companion, a one or two person kind of dog. She is shown in several videos.

Overview:
The Border Collie is a highly intelligent and energetic herding dog, originating from the Anglo-Scottish border region where they were bred for their exceptional sheep-gathering abilities. Physically, they are medium-sized dogs with an athletic build, typically weighing between 30-55 pounds, and feature a double coat that can be rough or smooth, appearing in a wide variety of colors, though black and white is most common. Their alert, intense gaze is a hallmark of the breed. Temperamentally, Border Collies are renowned for their incredible trainability, eagerness to please, and boundless energy, making them excellent candidates for dog sports like agility and obedience. However, this high drive means they require significant mental and physical stimulation; without proper outlets, they can become bored and destructive. While loyal and affectionate with their families, their herding instincts can sometimes translate to nipping at children or other pets if not managed, making them generally better suited for experienced owners who can dedicate time to their training and exercise needs. They are definitely not suited for apartment living and thrive in homes with large, secure yards and active lifestyles. Health-wise, they are generally robust, but can be prone to certain genetic conditions such as Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), hip and elbow dysplasia, and Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome (TNS).
