Description
Hazel is my son's dog. She is up to date on shots and fixed. I think she weighs around 50 lbs. Her birthday is March 12th 2025. She uses a doggie door to go out and potty. He has not worked with her and a couple months because he got put on split shifts. Last Summer they would walk around town together and she would not be leashed she just knew to stay with him. Him and his fiance are also splitting up and so there will not be anybody home with her much which is the only reason he has decided to find her a good home. She's been around other dogs and a cat and kids. She has a goofy personality. Willing to meet in Iowa City, Muscatine, Burlington, Mount Pleasant or Washington Iowa
Items Included: She will come with her shot record from the vet.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Bernedoodle, a charming cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Standard Poodle, originated in North America, aiming to combine the Poodle's intelligence and low-shedding coat with the Bernese's gentle nature. Physically, they are medium to large-sized dogs, typically possessing a wavy or curly coat that can range in color from black to tri-color, and is generally hypoallergenic. Temperamentally, Bernedoodles are known for being affectionate, playful, and highly intelligent, making them relatively easy to train. They are an excellent choice for families due to their patient and loving demeanor, though their energy levels mean they thrive with active owners and a good-sized yard, making them less ideal for small apartment living without sufficient exercise. While generally healthy, potential health considerations can include hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and certain cancers, inherited from their parent breeds. Regular grooming is essential to prevent matting of their beautiful coats.
