Description
Meet Sierra! She is a fluffy, little Shihpoo puppy. Sage loves playing with the children, loves to be held, and loves everyone she meets. Her daddy is a toy Poodle and momma is a Shih Tzu/Pomeranian mix; so she is non-shedding and hypo allergenic. She should mature around 8-10 lbs. and around 10" tall. She had her vet health check and checked out super healthy. She is kept up to date on vaccinations and dewormings, and has her vaccination record to take along home. I also offer a one year health guarantee. I will send a puppy pack along with food, toys, and blanket to help with the adjustments. We are located in Clarkrange, Tennessee and may be able to meet a distance, if needed. Feel free to call or text me at (717) 368-8264. Or call my house number at (931) 863-7818. Breed overview
Overview:
The Shih-Poo is a charming designer breed, a delightful cross between the gentle Shih Tzu and the intelligent Miniature Poodle, typically originating from breeders seeking to combine the best traits of both. These small companion dogs usually boast a soft, wavy to curly coat that is often low-shedding, making them a popular choice for individuals with allergies. Physically, they exhibit a compact build, expressive eyes, and come in a variety of colors. In terms of temperament, Shih-Poos are generally affectionate, playful, and highly adaptable, making them excellent family pets and well-suited for apartment living due to their moderate exercise needs. They thrive on human companionship and can be quite trainable with positive reinforcement. While generally robust, potential health considerations include issues common to their parent breeds, such as patellar luxation, eye conditions, and dental problems, underscoring the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary care.
