The Cavapoo (Miniature) is a charming designer breed that originated from crossing the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with the Miniature Poodle, blending the gentle, affectionate nature of the Cavalier with the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Poodle. Typically weighing between 10–18 pounds, they have a soft, wavy or curly coat and a teddy-bear appearance that makes them especially appealing. Known for their friendly temperament, Cavapoos are playful, loyal, and highly people-oriented, making them excellent companions for families, singles, and seniors alike. Their moderate energy level suits both houses and apartment living, provided they receive daily walks and interactive play. While generally healthy, they may inherit issues such as mitral valve diseasepatellar luxation, or eye conditions, so responsible breeding and regular veterinary care are important. With their adaptability, affectionate personality, and manageable size, the Cavapoo (Miniature) is a well-rounded companion dog.
