This large and muscular dog boasts a short, dense coat typically in fawn, red, or brindle, often with a striking black mask. Despite their imposing appearance, Bullmastiffs are known for their gentle, loyal, and affectionate temperament with their families, often referred to as a "gentle giant." They are generally good with children when properly socialized, making them suitable for active families. While their size might suggest otherwise, they can adapt to apartment living if provided with sufficient daily exercise and mental stimulation, as they are not overly high-energy dogs.
