Description
We have had this bloodline of Labrador Retrievers for 52 years, going back to 1974. This litter of puppies is now the 12th generation down from my first Labrador Retriever I bought when I was 13-years old in 1974. Over the years, when choosing stud dogs to mate with our female Labradors, we have always sought and chosen stud dogs which have the characteristics which we want to breed into our bloodline. We have always chosen stud dogs which exhibit a high degree of intelligence and which have nice blocky heads and broad chests. Also, we always use stud dogs which have their hips and eyes certified. Among the many field champions in our bloodline is the famous Ebonstar Lean Mac, who, before he passed away, had sired more U.S. and Canadian field champions than any other Labrador Retriever in history. Our Labrador Retriever bloodline also includes the well-known and popular Hayseed line of Labrador Retrievers. The many field champions in our Labrador Retriever bloodline include Grand Master Hunters, Master Hunters, National U.S. and Canadian Field Champions, Field Champions, and Amateur Field Champions. We can show you pictures of the previous eleven generations of the puppies' female ancestors, as well as some of their male ancestors. You can also take a look at the puppies' genealogy, which we have going back 70 years to the 1950's. This litter is a very beautiful bunch of pups and based on the mother's calm demeanor, the pups will also be great family dogs. We live near Shelton, WA. The sire's name is Trigger. His father, and both of his grandfathers are Master Hunters. One of his great-grandfathers is actually a National Amateur Field Champion, Field Champion, and Amateur Field Champion.
Mother
The dam's name is Saba. She is the 11th generation in our bloodline, which we started in 1974. Her pedigree literally contains dozens of Grand Master Hunters, Master Hunters, National Field Champions, Field Champions, and Amateur Field Champions. She has a very nice disposition, is a superb hunter, and is extremely addicted to tennis balls!!

Overview:
The Labrador Retriever, a beloved and highly popular breed, originated in Newfoundland, Canada, where they were initially bred to assist fishermen by retrieving nets and stray fish. Physically, they are medium-to-large dogs, known for their strong, athletic build, short, dense, weather-resistant double coat (commonly seen in black, yellow, or chocolate), and their distinctive "otter" tail. Temperamentally, Labs are celebrated for their friendly, outgoing, and good-natured disposition, making them exceptional family companions. Their intelligence and eagerness to please contribute to their trainability, though they do require consistent exercise to prevent boredom and destructive behaviors. While adaptable, their energy levels make them more suited to homes with yards, or highly active families, rather than apartment living, unless daily extensive exercise is guaranteed. Regarding health, Labs can be prone to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and some eye conditions, so responsible breeding practices are crucial. Overall, their loyalty, versatility, and affectionate nature firmly establish the Labrador Retriever as a wonderful addition to many households.
