Originating in the United States, this delightful companion was bred to combine the desirable traits of both parent breeds. Physically, Yorkipoos are typically small, weighing between 3 to 14 pounds, with a soft, often wavy or curly coat that comes in a variety of colors including black, white, cream, and apricot. Their expressive eyes and often playful demeanor are highly endearing. In terms of temperament, they are generally intelligent, affectionate, and energetic, making them wonderful additions to most households. They adapt well to apartment living due to their small size, provided they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation. Their moderate exercise needs can be met with daily walks and indoor play.
