Litter Description
Our Long Coat West German Shepherd puppies are raised right here on our family farm in Middle Tennessee, where they are exposed daily to children, other animals, new sights, sounds, and the natural rhythm of everyday life. We intentionally paired our dogs to produce well-rounded German Shepherds with strong temperaments, sound structure, intelligence, and the versatility to thrive as loyal family companions, active lifestyle dogs, or working partners. This litter is the result of thoughtfully combining West German working and show line traits to create confident, stable puppies with beautiful expression, strong bone, and balanced personalities. Puppies are handled from an early age and raised in a hands-on environment with plenty of interaction, socialization, and room to explore. Each puppy goes home with age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, a veterinary wellness check, microchipped, prepaid AKC registration paperwork, and a small starter kit to help with transition into their new home. We care deeply about where our puppies are placed and love staying connected with our puppy families long after they leave the farm.

She loves people and cuddles, but also loves to stay in the midl of the action: chasing, playing and interacting with the other pups. Curious, happy, social and ready to engage with what's happing around her. She loves the water!

Overview:
The German Shepherd Dog, a truly iconic breed, originated in Germany in the late 19th century, primarily for herding sheep. They are easily recognizable by their athletic, medium-to-large build, typically weighing between 50-90 pounds, with a distinct double coat that can be black and tan, sable, or solid black. Known for their intelligence and loyalty, German Shepherds possess a remarkably trainable and courageous temperament, making them exceptional working dogs in fields like police and service work. While generally good with families when properly socialized, their high energy levels and need for mental stimulation make them unsuitable for apartment living without significant daily exercise. Prospective owners should be aware of common health concerns such as hip and elbow dysplasia, as well as degenerative myelopathy, underscoring the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary care.
