She may be petite, but she keeps up with everyone and brings plenty of energy and fun wherever she goes. Sweet Pea is incredibly social and would fit beautifully into a home that already has dogs or even cats. She loves making friends, enjoys playing with everyone, and has a naturally easygoing temperament. While she’s playful and curious, she’s also learning her manners and has already started working on sitting politely. More than anything, Sweet Pea just wants to be with her people. She loves attention, enjoys hanging out with the family, and is happiest when she’s included in whatever is going on. Her affectionate nature and sweet disposition make her an easy puppy to fall in love with. ✔️ Purebred German Shepherd ✔️ Female (Black & Tan) ✔️ Born March 15 ✔️ Dewormed ✔️ Raised around adults and children ✔️ Socialized and handled daily ✔️ Working on potty training and basic manners ✔️ Great with other dogs and likely to adapt well to cats ✔️ Loving, playful, and family-oriented ✔️ Ready for her forever home “Sweet Pea may be one of the smaller puppies, but she has a huge heart. Overview:
The German Shepherd Dog, a truly iconic breed, originated in Germany in the late 19th century, primarily for herding sheep. They are easily recognizable by their athletic, medium-to-large build, typically weighing between 50-90 pounds, with a distinct double coat that can be black and tan, sable, or solid black. Known for their intelligence and loyalty, German Shepherds possess a remarkably trainable and courageous temperament, making them exceptional working dogs in fields like police and service work. While generally good with families when properly socialized, their high energy levels and need for mental stimulation make them unsuitable for apartment living without significant daily exercise. Prospective owners should be aware of common health concerns such as hip and elbow dysplasia, as well as degenerative myelopathy, underscoring the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary care.
