Meet Bongo — our handsome little potato! ????❤️???? Bongo is such a sweet, funny boy with the best personality. He’s affectionate, playful, loves being with his people, and has a way of making you laugh just by being Bongo. He’s grown into the cutest little potato and is just an all-around GOOD boy. ❤️ A little note about Bongo’s eyes: he previously had some eye irritation with swelling of the eyelid that our veterinarian felt likely only needed medication. He was treated with medication and the irritation cleared up nicely, although the prominent/bulging appearance got smaller but never went away, so I’m having our veterinarian take another look at them on August 21 before he goes to his new home. Once that appointment is completed, I’ll be able to share the vet’s final assessment with his new family. The current photos were taken 8/18/2026, so you can see exactly what Bongo and his eyes look like today. I’ve also included some older pictures from when he was smaller because, well… baby Bongo was pretty darn cute too. ???? Other than this, Bongo is happy, active and doing great with no other known health issues. He is looking for a family who will love his goofy personality, his sweet nature, and his adorable little potato self. I’m happy to start talking with families interested in Bongo now, and I’ll provide the results of his August 21 vet check before he leaves for his new home. ❤️????

They adapt well to various living situations, making them excellent companions for both families with children and individuals in apartments, as long as they receive adequate exercise and mental stimulation. Regarding health, they are a brachycephalic (short-nosed) breed, so care must be taken in hot weather to prevent overheating, and they can be prone to eye conditions and patellar luxation. Overall, their delightful nature and manageable size make them a beloved choice for many.
