rescue Breed: American Foxhound Sex: Female Female Age: Adult Location: USA Posted Breed: American Foxhound / Beagle (short coat). 7 year old Beagle/Foxhound, Sweet Girl Foxy is in a foster homes in South East Arizona. Their foster mom can arrange transport to Tucson for meet and greets on Saturdays (usually), or if that is not convenient, we can schedule something different. Foxy and Goldie were given up by their owners due to a move. They are NOT terribly attached, but it would be great if they go together. Foxy is a 7 year old Foxhound, likely Beagle/coonhound mix. She is very sweet and easy. She has a bit of a limp in the hind leg from a previous injury. Nothing can be done to cure it, so we have her on some anti steroidal anti inflammatory to keep her comfortable. She can go for walks, hikes, but just not marathons. Foxy is approximately 60 pounds, but a very happy sweet girl that deserves a wonderful, loving forever home. Foxy gets along with everybody (I don't know about cats). Foxy would even make an apartment dog, she would be happy to watch Animal Planet while her family is at work or school but then love to spend time with her for walks, hikes or any other adventure with her family. This sweet hound dog was tossed out of a truck on a dead end street, thank goodness neighbors seen it being done and took him in until he found his way to us. Felix is a typical playful puppy. He already knows sit and is very eager to learn. Felix will need more training, he can be both food and toy possessive so ongoing training is needed. He does good in the home and is crate trained. Experienced home only, will need additional training and a trainer is preferable. No others dogs only due to toy and food guarding.
