Australian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees and Aussie-Poo-Aussiedoodle Mix Dogs Breeder in JEROMESVILLE, OH, USA
Mimi’s Pack was started from Michelle Ramseyer’s love for dogs and Jeff and Michelle's need to have dogs to guard and help herd their growing livestock herds. Jeff and Michelle Ramseyer live in Jeromesville, Ohio and have 8 children ages 27-12 and twin grandsons age 6. Michelle at a very young age loved dogs and her parents started her with 2 Irish Setters. When the female was bred by the neighbor’s Labrador Michelle fell in love with the puppies. Always wanting to have her own breeding business but never knew what breed specifically she wanted. Michelle set out to research the breeds and decide what she really wanted. Michelle has had mix breed dogs, Labs, Rottweilers, Coon Hounds, Beagles, Australian Shepherds, Catahoula, Australian cattle dog, Great Pyrenees, and an Airedale, throughout her 47 years, sometimes multiple dogs at once. When Michelle’s oldest son, Caleb, was leased a male Australian Shepherd to use for his Dog Obedience 4-H project, Michelle fell in love with Australian Shepherds, their sharp minds, protectiveness, willing to please and loving personalities, and knew she wanted to own one of her own and breed them one day. Jeff introduced her to Great Pyrenees in 2013 and she knew she needed a couple of those too. In 2015 the family dog had to be put down, and everyone was devastated, Michelle and Jeff were approached by their Sister-In-Law to get one of her Airedales and she would help with the breeding of the female when she was of age. This was the start of the idea of Mimi’s Pack. In 2016 the family Purchased their first Australian Shepherd Female Jade. Jade's first litter was born in June of 2018. They have since added 3 more Australian Shepherds and 4 Great Pyrenees.
