    Breed: Brittany
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Senior
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Hey, All; My name is Max. I'm 8 years young male currently being fostered in SW Ohio. I am neutered, UTD on my shots, HW negative and taking prevention. I'm also housebroken and get along well with the resident dogs and cats, as well as, a most irritating puppy that just recently joined the family. I came into NBRAN through no fault of my own, as my previous family simply had a change in circumstances which just left me alone way too long. So it was decided that my “golden years” should be spent in comfort, so here I’m waiting to find a new home to call my own. Remember don’t let my age fool ya, I have lots of energy, love to play outside but still need some help on leash walking. I know basic commands like sit, come, down, off too. I love to be with my people; however thunder and loud storm do scare me a bit but not real bad. I shake a lot and need a place to hide at times until it passes. My foster Mom says I'm a real petite guy at only 35lbs, and of course very handsome too. So, do you think I could be the Brit for you and your home? If so, please consider filling out an application online at: nbran/adopt/adoption-application Once you application is received the coordinator in the State in which you live will be in touch to follow-up. Need to reach your State Coordinator, find their contact information here nbran/about/state-provincial-coordinators My adoption Fee is adoption fee is 200.00 which will help NBRAN cover the vetting costs and other expenses associated with bringing Brit like me Max back to good health and readying them for adoption. Also seeing as I’m considered a “senior boy” I also qualify for the senior to senior adoption program, so be sure to ask your State coordinator for details about that too. Don't live in Ohio or close by, No Problem! NBRAN also has a wonderful transport team who will help bring me, Max to his new family, up to 1400 miles with the adoptive family being responsible for the last 100 miles, at no additional fee. Still have questions? Contact Vivian Stevenson by email at grtpyrlovergmail or Roberta Ruck at roberta.ruckgmail

    Breed: Brittany
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Kylo is a petite little l7 mo old boy. He only weighs 23 lb. He is sweet as can be. He loves attention and loves to hug on you.. He minds well and comes when called. He is crate trained and will go right into it without being told. (He knows he gets a treat). He has had no accidents thus far in the house. He is good with other dogs but seeks out his human more than the dogs. He has not wanted to play with toys. He will chew on his blanket if you leave it in crate. . He loves running in the fenced yard. He will require a physically fenced yard. NO invisible or electric fences. Kylo has a plate in his left front leg from an old break. The current vet says its ok to remain there as the ulna wont grow anymore and it is not bothering him. X-rays show there is no problem.. He does not limp on the leg but it is a bit deformed. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, heartworm neg and microchipped. Kylo will make any family a great companion. For more information, contact settertownaol

She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, HW neg and on prevenative and microchipped. Daisy is good with other dogs but not good with cats. She has been around children. Daisy was recently adopted and returned because she demonstrated fearfulness and growling towards men. Daisy gets very antsy when it is storming and wants to be right with her humans or climbs into the bathtub or someplace to hide. She is a very sweet girl who loves attention and loves to be petted. She is housebroken and crate trained but does not like being in a crate and will whine. She is not destructive in the house. Daisy requires a physically fenced yard in a home where someone is there most of the day and preferably with a single woman For more information, contact settertownaol.

    Breed: Brittany

    Age: Adult

Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Hi! My name is Stella and I'm searching for my forever home. I am just shy of 6 years old and I'm really a beautiful girl. I've been bounced around to a few different homes, and all I want is a safe and comfortable place where I can stay forever. I need to be loved and in turn, I will love you back unconditionally. I do have some anxiety, but my foster home has provided me with excellent intensive obedience training and a behavior modification plan. I take daily medication to help my anxiety. I have made tremendous progress but I will need a family who will be patient and provide structure and continued training. I know many commands and I'm housetrained. I'm quite a lady as I don't get in the trash, counter surf, or drink out of a toilet. I'm learning how to play with toys, as I didn't have those before. I would be fine as an only dog or with another dog who is not an alpha. My interactions with cats are mixed. I'm fine with one of the cats in my foster home, but I'm not so good with the other one. I would probably be best with someone who can be home most of the time. I'm learning to walk better on a leash, although a gentle lead is the best thing for me. Stella is up to date on shots, spayed and heartworm negative and on preventative. If you are interested in adopting Stella, please visit .NBRAN to complete an adoption application. Contact Jessica Stevenson jessicathesouthernway for more information. The fee to adopt Stella is $350 to offset her vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles.

    Louie

    rescue
    Breed: Brittany
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). "Upper Peninsula Animal Wefare Shelter" (formerly Marquette County Humane Society) Louie is a 1 year old, neutered male purebred Brittany Spaniel. He is a very active puppy who needs a home where he can RUN (not just walk) a lot!! If he doesn't get enough exercise, he will take to chewing on your things! He will be an indoor house dog only, living outside is not an option for him. He sure loves his people and cuddles with me all night every night. Louie likes to give hugs and kisses and he will curl up on your lap like a cat. He is still learning his manners, so kids over 10 years old would be ideal. He is crate trained and is used to being crated for up to four hours a day. Louie loves to play with other dogs, but he does chase cats. He loves playing with squeakie toys and chewing on deer antlers. He has done well on his e-collar and responds to "Louie, here!", therefore, I ask you keep his name as he knows it well and I have used it in his training. He loves learning new things, so a home that is willing to extend his training of tricks and manners would be great. He's not a big fan of wet paws or the cold weather, so I got him a vest to wear for the cold days when he shivers and he really enjoys it. Louie is pretty decent with his potty habits, but still has an accident from time to time in the house. After a big family change (resulting in me being the only adult), I simply cannot give him the running exercise he needs. I want him to have the chance to have a better home than I can provide and if I cannot find him a better home, he will stay with me. I love him very dearly-- he's my baby boy. If anything were to ever not work with his new home, I would take him back. He is currently eating Purina One Smartblends chicken & rice and he currently receives 1 cup 3x a day. I can include his crate, blanket, bowns, leash, vet & AKC paperwork, and favorite toys. If you think you can give my Louie a better life and the exercise he requires, please feel free to contact me, and I am located in Ishpeming. His rehoming fee is $250. Louie is not at UPAWS, he is being privately rehomed through our Home2Home program. If you think you would be a good fit or have any questions about him, you can reach Rachel at 952-486-0680 or by email at rlshellumgmail WEBSITE: .upaws

    Breed: Brittany
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (long coat). Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known. Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days? If so please visit our webpage at .carolinapoodlerescue and complete the application. You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side. You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available. Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes? Please drop a note to applicationscarolinapoodlerescue with your name, address and phone # and email. We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team Date into Rescue: 7/13/18 Reason for being in rescue: Breeder release Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Needs a companion dog Weight: 40 lbs Height: 22" at the shoulder Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? Yes, without questions. Roan needs a safe place to hang out. She loves to chase butterflies. What kind of home would be best for me? Roan was surrendered by her breeder to Carolina Poodle Rescue. She has a lot to learn about being a house dog. Roan needs an experienced, patient owner who will work with her on basic training. What is my personality like? I'm still learning what it is like to be outside of farm life so please be patient with me. I'm a little shy when first meeting people, but if you have a few yummy treats I will approach you. Though I am shy, I'm still sweet as can be. I love attention especially from people I am comfortable with. I'm only 2 years old so I do have a pretty high energy level I am just not sure what to do with it yet and will need you to teach me! I do show a little interest in toys, but I'm still learning what those things are. You can help teach me basic commands with treats, I am very treat motivated. Dogs, cats, humans.. I get along with them all if they give me time to trust. How do I act when I first meet new people? Very shy but I come around with treats. Other tips and tidbits: I was a breeder release, I still have a lot to learn about being a house dog. I have lived a quiet life on a nice farm with many other dogs. The city will be new to me. I'd really prefer a home with a nice bit of acreage and I need a few other dogs to hang out with. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. To apply, please visit our webpage at .carolinapoodlerescue and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR.

    Breed: Brittany

Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Please contact Sandra (sandratoal18gmail) for more information about this pet. Hello there! My name is Rusty and I am 11 years young. My brother Jesse (liver and white) and I are looking for a new forever home. We are a package deal....a two-fer...and we won't be split up. We are like Butch and Sundance, Bert and Ernie, peanut butter and jelly... you get it. We compliment each other and we always stick together. In fact, I kind of keep Jesse in line. He's a tad younger than I at only 10 years of age, so he appreciates my guidance and wisdom. We are fun seniors. We can be couch potatoes if you want to snuggle, but we also like playing and running like crazy in the back yard (we are VERY zippy for our age). We live in a busy house with 3 other dogs, a ferret (which they keep away from us!) a very cool kid and some bigger people. I was bit nervous and jumpy when I first got here, but now I'm chill and enjoying foster life, my doggie door to my big fenced yard and hanging with the family. I do think I'd prefer if Jesse and I were your 'only dogs' though. It took me a while to be comfortable around the other dogs in the house and I just prefer Jesse's company over that of other dogs if truth be told. We've been sidekicks for some time now and I'm used to him. Foster mom says we are awesome and loving. We are good left in the house and we always dance for her when she comes home. We LOVE car rides and take treats gently and will even sit nicely for them. We do pull a bit on leash (please refer to previous "zippy" reference above) but mostly we just go with the flow. We are both very healthy, neutered and are heart worm negative, up to date on all our vaccines, and on flea/tick/heart worm prevention. They even checked out our blood and we are good to go! So, if you are looking for 2 awesome dudes to complement your family, we're your guys! We are currently accepting applications, so please go online and complete an application and we'll have our people contact your people! *********** Rusty and Jesse's adoption fees are $200 US (each) which offsets the cost of their vetting and of other dogs in need. Senior to senior adoption fee for them would be $100 US (each). We will NOT consider splitting them. They are a bonded pair and have lived together their entire lives. Rusty and Jesse are being fostered near London, Ontario (Canada). NBRAN can transport up to 2200 kms (1400 miles) with the adopter expected to do the last 100 miles. To apply to adopt Rusty and Jesse please go to this link .nbran/adopt/adoption-application and complete our online application form or contact sandratoal18gmail for more information.

    PA/Molly

    Breed: Brittany
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Senior
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Meet Molly who came to NBRAN through no fault of her own. Molly is one of the sweetest senior girls you’ll ever meet per her foster Mom. Molly is laid back and gentle. She just wants to be where her person is, and she loves to get pets and scratches, and hugs and kisses. She sleeps on the floor by her person and sleeps as late as you will let her, but does like a comfy chair when one is available. Molly hasn’t been playing with toys but now that her teeth have been taken care that just might change. Molly is about 10 years old, weights in at 42 pounds and is currently in a foster home in Central PA, where she hangs out with 3 other Brits all boys. Like many older Brits, Molly had her share of health issues when she arrived, which included rotten teeth and 2 mammary tumors, however both issues have been taken care of, and Molly is ready to find her Forever home! Molly is house trained and not destructive when left alone in the house. However, she doesn’t like loud noises and quivers during thunderstorms, as well as, may have some separation anxiety but her foster brothers have kept that to a minimum. So it’s highly recommend that she have at least 1 other dog in her new home to help keep her company, as well as a Fenced yard. Prior to coming to NBRAN Molly lived with small children and a cat, but she would really like to chase meadow bunnies and butterflies, so cats might be a problem she’d have to relearn. She gets along well with her 3 foster brothers, and has no food aggression with them or with her people. She is not curious about waste cans and counter tops. She is eager to have her walking harness/car safety belt put on. She travels well and jumps into the car by herself. The faster her person walks the better she is at leash walking. She’s not a saunterer. She likes to be first so if she’s walking with another dog, she will press ahead. While she knows not to lunge out an open door, she prefers to be the first one inside. She knows her name well when she’s inside and comes running when called. She’s not quite as attentive outside, but doesn’t get very far from her person. Molly is about as easy going as Brittanys come! So, do you think she could be the Brit for you and your home? If so, please consider filling out an application online at: nbran/adopt/adoption-application Once you application is received the coordinator in the State in which you live will be in touch to follow-up. Need to reach your State Coordinator, find their contact information here nbran/about/state-provincial-coordinators Molly’s adoption Fee is adoption fee is 200.00 which will help NBRAN cover the vetting costs and other expenses associated with bringing Brit like me Molly back to good health and readying them for adoption. Molly also qualifies for the senior to senior adoption program, so be sure to ask your State coordinator for details. Don't live in PA or close by, No Problem! NBRAN also has a wonderful transport team who will help bring Molly to her new family, up to 1400 miles with the adoptive family being responsible for the last 100 miles, at no additional fee. Breed: Brittany

    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). My name is Lady and I found myself in a rural shelter after I fell off a 4 wheeler and my owner thought I walked funny and acted funny. I don't know why he took me there instead of the vet. The shelter director was so nice to me and found me a home with NBRAN. My foster mom says I am the sweetest thing ever. I don't get into mischief. I rarely bark. I am great with the dogs at my foster home. I like to go outside and walk around in the fenced yard. I am not a big eater . Sometimes I leave part of my dry but I really love the canned food. I have been to the vet and the vet says I am about 9 instead of 6 like my owner told the shelter. I have a little gray on my face but I am young in spirit. I do walk a little funny. Some say I have a walking horse gait. I pick my feet up high before I put them down and I sort of walk a little sideways but I always manage to get where I am going. I can climb the two short steps in and out of the house. The vet says I can see but sometimes my eyes divert more to the right but if my foster mom calls my name and is standing right in front of me, I can focus on her. I was tender in my right rear hip and the vet thinks I might have pulled it out of place but it went back in. I don't act like I am in pain. I was already spayed as I have a little tattoo on my belly. I am heartworm negative, now UTD on vaccines and microchipped. If you are looking for an older girl to love and pet on then I am your girl. I would be great in a home without small children that wanted to play because I just don't think I can. I much prefer to lie on a nice soft bed and be someones companion.I do come to my name . I prefer to be adopted somewhere close to middle tn as I wont do well getting in and out of cars for a long ride. I have to be helped into a vehicle. For more information contact settertownaol
