Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Jax is 5 years young and a very good boy. Need a hiking or running partner? I'm your man. Lots of activity? Count me in. I take treats nicely and give you back my toy easily so you can throw it again. My foster Mom thinks I'm doing a lot! I will go in my kennel when asked and won't make a peep all night. I'm neutered and house trained and I love to be outside, so I need a 6 ft privacy fence to run and play in. Another dog or cat? I'm good with that! If you are interested in finding out more about adopting me, please submit an adoption application through nbran and then contact Dick Wolbers at slushlovermsn

Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Jax is a Tri-Color full tail male Brittany who is about 2 years old and looking for a new home. Jax needs another dog to play with. He great with kids and is only mildly interested in cats, but not in a bad way. He still needs to learn some manners. He has puppy like behaviors that need to be watched. He leans towards being an alpha if there isn't a very strong one already. he can jump! However, he doesn't seem to want to jump the fence. He's incredibly sweet and loves to sleep snuggled up in bed. We will only consider a home with a fence and another playful dog in the home. He is a pretty high energy dog so he needs a sibling to help him burn that off every day. Jax is housebroken, heartworm negative, crate trained, mircrochipped and neutered. If you are interested in Jax please fill out an application on our website and you will be contacted by your state coordinator. A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. Jax is currently in foster care in Michigan. He can be transported up to 1400 miles with the adopter driving the last 100 miles. The Michigan coordinator handling this adoption is Georgene Norris you can contact her at georgenenbranyahoo for more information.

    CA/Hank (LA)...

    Breed: Brittany

    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Hello everyone – my name is Hank AKA Handsome Hank and the Hankster....and I am an 8 year old American Brittany. My family could no longer care for me so the nice people at NBRAN took me into rescue. So here I am in Van Nuys living the good life with the nice people at NBRAN while I wait to find my forever family. I prefer to be in whatever room my foster dad is in. I have excellent manners, am fully housebroken, can also use a doggie door, I don't pull on the leash and know my basic commands. I just want to be loved and in return I will love and adore you. I can be trusted alone in the house as I am well past that naughty stage we Brittanys go through. I am good with small dogs and dogs who do not want to be alphas because I am used to being the alpha. I get a little growly around dogs that want to be in charge at home. I am working with a trainer and my new family will need to be understanding and continue with my training. I also have a voice and I know how to use it. I whine when my foster daddy leaves for work and if I'm left outside alone with the doggie door closed, I will whine, bark and eventually howl to let you know I DO NOT want to be outside alone. We learned this when I inadvertently got locked out while foster daddy was in the house. I really need to go to an experienced Brittany family who know what we are all about. Don't let my age fool you - in Brittany years, 8 is really 2! Like some of my foster brothers and sisters, I am afraid of gun shots and fireworks, so if you are looking for a hunting companion, I am definitely not for you. On Independence Day, I will need to be kept inside with the windows closed as fireworks make me very nervous. We recently had some serious thunder storms in Los Angeles and I spent the night trembling in my foster mommy's arms, so I will need a patient parent who understands me. I love to trot around the yard and play! I will need someone to walk me or I need a yard so I can chase all the birds and butterflies. I would be best in a home without young children. Older, respectful children would be fine, but I get nervous around young children who want to grab me suddenly. My adoption fee is $200 and I am neutered, up to date on shots, just had my teeth cleaned and I'm microchipped. So call, text or email Patti at nationalbrittanyrescuegmail 310.994.1062 and let’s chat. If you are interested in adding Hank to your family, please complete an online application at .nbran (under the Adopt tab). Once the application has been completed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator. A telephone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. Hank is eligible for our wonderful Senior-to-Senior program. If you are a senior, age 60 or over, the adoption fee will be reduced to $100. If you are not in Southern California, we have an amazing group of volunteer drivers and pilots who will bring Hank to you in the western states only. Please chat with Patti or your state coordinator for details. We do try to minimize the journey for our beloved brittanys because the transports can be stressful. Thank you for reading my bio and I hope we can meet! Oh, and one more thing - NBRAN really needs foster homes right now. If you can just open your heart and home for a little while, it will make a world of difference for these amazing Brittanys.

    AR/Slim Jim

    Breed: Brittany
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Must have a fence. (No IF and higher than 4 ft) Must have another dog to play with and a very active family. No small children, as this is a very active puppy. He is one great pup, but needs that loving and gentle hand. Needs a family that will make him part of the family. Cuddling on couch, etc. Slim Jim here, have you ever seen one adorable Brittany like me?! Of course not, I am one of a kind. I am 9 mths old, orange/white, neutered, healthy 32 lbs of pure male Brittany. UTD on all vaccines, HW neg and on prevention. I love my hoomans and I have lots of loving and cuddles to share. Let me tell you what I would love to have with my new family. Lots of sweet loving, kisses, snuggles on the couch with you and watch tv or tell me stories. Teach me tricks, but give me cookies when I do good, maybe drop one by accident that I can help pickup for you. I am a little clown and my foster folks say I am the greatest, but remember I am still that Brittany puppy that is curious and active. I need to get my exercise and have fun, but I do settle down nicely. History: I was born and spent my former life in a pen with a sibling. My former owner was a Hunter/Breeder. Although I was feed, watered and very occasionally handled. I never truly was given affection, just training. When my former owner decided I wasn't going to be a true hunter, he surrendered me to NBRAN, and my foster Dad and Mom brought me to their home and the Barky Bunch Ranch here in AR. At first, they thought I would never stop moving. Hey, here I have room to run and play. But I soon learned that I could go outside any time I wanted to or NEEDED to potty. I have learned not to rush in to greet all the siblings here. They just ignore me or let me know when to BACK OFF! We play and run the fence most of the day. I do need exercise. I don't guard my food, or chew bones, or toys. It's fun to share. I have learned when I'm inside that there are HOUSE RULES! I listen when told NO and stop (at least until I find another prize, like socks). Mom thinks I am very smart and easy to teach. I now sit for a treat, go in my cozy, soft blanketed crate for a treat or just because the Human says so. I fuss a little, but soon settle down and either take a nap or sleep through the night. As for house training, I am doing great. I tell the folks with body language when I can't wait any longer and I don't potty in my blankets or crate. I don't tear up my soft blankie, never had one before, so don't want to destroy my blankie. I no longer counter surf or beg at the table. I want to learn to be the BEST home companion ever. If you would love a Pal to run and play with and snuggle with, I'm your Man. My foster Mom will be glad to tell you more about me as I am in foster care. Medical Note: He did test positive for Ehrlichia, but did not have Ehrlichia. We treated for 30 days with doxy anyway and after treatment did bloodwork. Bloodwork was excellent and none shown in blood smear. Healthy. If you are interested in adopting me, please visit .NBRAN to complete an adoption application. Contact Nancy Walker at nwalkercapecod and/or Melinde Waddle at macgammygmail . for more information after you have filled out the application. The fee to adopt Slim Jim in Arkansas is $400 to offset his vetting and to allow NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful pets in need. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles.

Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Hello California! I am Lady Bug though I prefer "Bug." I am a super sweet, active 8 year old American Brittany. My story is very sad-- my dad developed cancer and is in hospice care. He could no longer care for me. I came into rescue with my sister, Annie. Annie and I are very bonded and will only be adopted together. That's Annie in a couple of pictures with me. I have the orange dot on the top of my head. I am living in a foster home with Annie and our sweet foster brothers in Escondido. I am happy to hunt in the backyard for lizards and butterflies and I love walks with my foster mom. You do need to hang on tight to my leash on walks since sometimes loud noises scare me and I can bolt while out walking. My foster mom takes me on three mile hikes every day and we have so much fun! I am really smart and know basic commands; am housebroken; dog friendly; and I LOVE LOVE LOVE being petted. I am spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped, too. My adoption fee is $200. So call, text or email Patti at nationalbrittanyrescuegmail 310.994.1062 and let’s chat. If you are interested in adding Lady Bug and Annie to your family, please complete an online application at .nbran (under the Adopt tab). Once the application has been completed, you will be contacted by your state coordinator. A telephone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. Everyone says we are just the sweetest pair of pups you could ever hope to meet. Bug is in a couple of pictures with me. Unlike my sister Bug - who loves to hunt with her brothers in the backyard - I prefer to relax on the couch so I don't ruin the stylish hairdo I have. Next to protecting the couch, my favorite thing is following my foster mom around the house. I love my walks once I get outside but I need to be encouraged to take them, Bug and I walk with our foster mom every day. I am just a little hearing impaired but know hand signals and if you speak loudly, I can hear you. I love my crate and even sleep in it during the day (my mom leaves the door open for me). I know basic commands, am housebroken, love other dogs and I love love love to be petted! I also really love my sister. I am spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. TN/Arlo

    Breed: Brittany
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Meet Arlo! He is a 4 yr old orange roan male Brittany who was an owner surrender with his pal Lucy. Arlo is a very active boy and requires a non-climbable 6 ft fence to keep him secure. He is well adjusted and socialized and knows some basic commands. He enjoys playing fetch, going for walks, cuddling , playing with children and getting into mischief. But hey, he's a typical young Brittany! So what's not love about that? He is not good with cats and has a high prey drive, so don't be surprised if he brings you birds or squirrels etc as "presents"! Arlo likes to pull hard on a leash so a harness or gentle leader and some training will help him learn to walk better on leash. Arlo is crate trained and loves his blanket. He thinks fluffy dog beds are toys and really enjoys tearing the stuffing out of them! He is fearful of thunder and heavy rain but finds comfort in his crate. Arlo is being fostered in Tennessee and can be transported up to 1,400 miles via our Canine Railroad with the adopter taking the last leg, usually 1-1/2 hours. Arlo's adoption fee is $375.00. Breed: Brittany
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Daisy is a beautiful liver and white girl who is almost 7 yr old and was an owner surrender due to owners health. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, HW neg and on prevenative and microchipped. Daisy is good with other dogs but not good with cats. She has been around children. Daisy was recently adopted and returned because she demonstrated fearfulness and growling towards men. Daisy gets very antsy when it is storming and wants to be right with her humans or climbs into the bathtub or someplace to hide. She is a very sweet girl who loves attention and loves to be petted. She is housebroken and crate trained but does not like being in a crate and will whine. She is not destructive in the house. Daisy requires a physically fenced yard in a home where someone is there most of the day and preferably with a single woman For more information, contact settertownaol.

    Breed: Brittany
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Remi is a beautiful, sweet, boy who was originally thought to be 6; however ,with recent health issues, the vet thinks he is older. If you are looking for a calm, laid back, loving companion then Remi is perfect for the job.He loves being by your side, being outside and also playing with his squeaky toys. Remi is great with people and other dogs but prefers to be the only dog. He is not good with cats. He is good with children but it is probably best for him to not be with young children due to his health issues. This boy is very scared of storms and loud noises and will bark and get very excitable. Calm tabs and cuddling help ease his stress. Remi has trouble with his right hip and was diagnosed with dysplasia and early degenerative disc disease. He has mild spondylosis. Because of his hip problems he does not need to be in a home with stairs or a lot of steps. He needs help getting up on the bed or couch. He walks ok with a bit of a wobble in his right hip. He is on joint supplements. and does well in his foster home. He is being fostered in Middle TN and it is preferable that he be adopted by someone who is within driving distance to get him. He would not do well with a long transport at all. He is housebroken, crate trained, UTD on vaccines, HW negative and microchipped. For more information on Remi, contact settertownaol
