  • Chihuahua Dog For Adoption in Campbell, CA, USA

    Quinn

    verified

    rescue
    Breed: Chihuahua
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Chihuahua (short coat). Adoption Fee: $400. Are you interested in fostering a dog prior to deciding on adoption? Meet our little diva, Quinn. She is a gorgeous white chihuahua with a brown patch over one eye and a beautiful blue eye on the other side. Quinn has now been with our Rescue for 2 years. She is about 3 years old and weighs 9 pounds. She is great inside the house, does fabulous with other dogs and ignores cats. Her favorite toy is an empty water bottle. Quinn has horrible anxiety at our adoption events and doesn't want anyone to touch her except her foster mom. Now, this all being said, when Quinn is comfortable in her own home, her anxiety disappears and she is happy to meet visiting guests. This is what we need in order for Quinn to be successfully adopted: Someone who is willing to take her home to foster her. Quinn needs to stay in your home for more than 24 hours. So far, everyone that has tried to foster her in hopes to adopt her, have only kept her 24 hours. Then they give up. She needs someone who will commit for at least a week, maybe 2 weeks. Someone who isn't going to get their feelings hurt when Quinn doesn't love them right away. Quinn could jump in your lap within hours of being in your home, or hang out under your kitchen table for a few days before warming up to you. But given time, she will love you with her whole heart. Feel free to email us with any questions you may have. This little beauty deserves a home and we know in our hearts, that person is out there somewhere waiting to find her!

    Rose

    Breed: Norfolk Terrier-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Norfolk Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $400. Rose is a 5 year old, 10 pound Norfolk Terrier mix. We found her impounded at an animal shelter. The husband in her former family did not want her anymore. Through trial and error, we have discovered that Rose only wants to live with women. Rose was recently adopted to a lovely woman and her adult daughter. Unfortunately she is now being returned to us because while they were away on business, the pet sitter left Rose in the backyard while running some errands and Rose dug out of the yard. Because of this the pet sitter refuses to keep Rose again. The adopter does not want to use another pet sitter, so Rose is now available for adoption. Rose has lived with other dogs, but does like to be the dominant dog and would probably prefer to be the only Princess of the home. She is active enough to enjoy long walks on the leash as well as hiking and camping. If there is some water to play in along the way, even better! Yet she's small enough and gentle enough to hang out at home all day. A very go with the flow kind of dog, with just enough "spice" to keep you on your toes! Her coat is a soft wire coat. It is currently short and most likely will grow very slowly. A very cute little dog.
