  • Doberman Pinscher Dog For Adoption in Omaha, NE, USA

    Aries

    rescue
    Breed: Doberman Pinscher
    Sex: Male Male
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Doberman Pinscher. My name is Aries and I am about two years old. This is an approximation as I was picked up as a stray. My whole history is not known and I don’t focus on that. I want to move forward. I am a big boy with a big personality. I am getting to meet a lot of new people but kids with fast movements make me edgy. I need to go into an adult only home. If there are kids they need to be teenagers. I pull hard on the leash because I want to get to where I want to go. I do know a few commands and will work for treats. I ride nicely in the car too. I have a mischevious side. I will eat blankets, socks, any clothing left on the floor. It will be very important for my forever family to keep things picked up. I know I am a handsome boy but please don’t pick me for my cropped ears. I really need to go to a home that understands the adolescent male Doberman and who has more current experience. No small dogs and no cats. I am a very hard player so I need to go to a home with a dog more my own size who also likes to play hard. I also need my forever family to commit to training me and further developing my wonderful mind. My forever family will also need to be strong enough to handle me on leash. Please go to .doberescue-ne and read the adoption rules and area. If you are qualified and interested in me please put in an application. All of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed. All dogs are tail docked. All of the above Dobes are pure breed Dobermans unless otherwise noted. We hope you can find a place in your heart and your home for one of our rescue Dobes. Please Note: In most cases we require a fenced yard. We do not place our rescue dogs in homes with very young children (under the age of 8 years). We set these limitations, not because of aggression issues with our dogs, but because Dobermans are generally large, active dogs and can easily knock down, run over or easily trip a small child, causing a serious fall. Also, we reserve the right to refuse adoption for any reason. Our adoption area encompasses Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. Zeus the red...

    Breed: Doberman Pinscher
    Sex: Male Male
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Doberman Pinscher. Hi! My name is Zeus and just so you don’t confuse me with the other Zeus, I am Zeus the red! I recently arrived in the rescue from a shelter in another state. I am estimated to be about 3 years old. I am a soulful young man who loves to be petted so I solicit human affection often. I am fairly calm so far since my arrival and try to keep a cool head about things. I am good with other dogs, but would prefer a playmate close to my own size. The volunteers call me a “gem”. I like the sound of that!. My leash manners aren’t too bad and I ride nicely in the car. I will “work” for food and know “sit”, “down” and “shake”. I would do great with even more training. Really, a dog always benefits from that and their family even more. If you have room for a sweet soulful guy in your life please visit .doberescue-ne and review the adoption rules and territories. If you qualify please complete an application. Jack

    rescue
    Breed: Doberman Pinscher
    Sex: Male Male
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Doberman Pinscher. My name is Jack and I am a big puppy 11 months old. I was found running the streets at 6 months of age and had to have an eye removed as it was deformed. I haven’t had a lot of training in my young life and not many people that I could count upon. Having one eye does change your outlook on life and your perception of things at times. I am a sweet boy with lots of energy to burn but not always so confident. I need a home that has good current Doberman experience, and that understands the mind and antics of adolescent Dobermans. I will also please need a confident leader who will lovingly and patiently work with me. Patience and consistency are so important when dealing with an adolescent! Taking me to obedience class that trains only in positive reinforcement will be required of my adopted family. I ride nicely in the car and don’t do too badly on leash so some of the foundation for training has been started. I really want to please if someone would just give me the chance, work with me and see it through. I would be best in a home with dogs that are close to my own size – no small dogs- I like to play and play hard! I also passed a cat test. If you are interested in me please go to .doberescue-ne and review the adoption area and rules. If you qualify please place an application for me. Thank you. Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Doberman Pinscher (short coat). My name is Ace and I am approximately a year old. I am all puppy, full of joy, full of life and full of play! I like almost every dog I meet and when I meet them I want to play. I am young and haven’t had a lot of manners taught to me but I am willing to learn. I love to please! Because I was abandoned I am not always sure that it is ok to be left alone. The right family for me should have a dog that likes to play of course and they must have good patient and loving leadership skills as it will take time and patience to train me properly and mold me into the best boy ever. I am so ready to go there but I need the right place. Please go to .doberescue-ne, review the adoption rules, and if you qualify please fill out an application.
