The SPCA has an adoption counseling process for adopters to learn adoption guidelines and adoption options. Hello! My name is Hunter and I have a few questions for you. First - what is your quest? Mine is to find a running buddy. So far, I''ve completed a 5k! Next, what is your favorite activity? I hope it''s chasing squirrels, balls, and automobiles because I would be happy to join you. I''ve been told that chasing cars isn''t safe, but I tend to live on the wild side. I''m doing pretty stellar on my training, though, and know `wait` and `kennel up,` which are helpful for calming me down when I get too worked up. I''m super treat motivated and with positive reinforcement we can learn even more! But don''t be too disappointed in me if I forget now and again. I''m like a toddler and tend to accidentally/on purpose lose focus… squirrel! Lastly, will you adopt me?! I await your answer! I''m full grown at ~53 lbs. ~My adoption fee is $95.00.~ Cats? No. Dogs? I will be best as the only dog. Children? Probably too high energy for some. House/Crate-trained? Yes. Energy Level? High. Training Needs? I''ve got the basics! How did I get here? Adopted and returned when the environment wasn''t the best fit for me. Many adoptions will take approximately 1 hour or more. I would describe myself as a born-again puppy! Even though I''m 10 yrs old and ~53 pounds, I''ve been learning all about being an inside dog, as I led a very (un)sheltered life before being surrendered to Beyond Fences. ''What has been your favorite experience thus far?'' I would definitely say getting tasty treats for learning new things. I''m getting the hang of housetraining and leash walks! ''How do you feel about Cats and Dogs?'' Cats don''t seem to be worth my trouble, and other dogs are suspect. I would say if I had a choice, I would like to be your one and only. ''And Children?'' Eh - I''m not sure. I may be be too high energy for small kids. ''What do you look for in a toy?'' It''s got to squeak - paws down! ''It''s Friday night, what are your plans?''
