    Leopold

    rescue
    Breed: Labrador Retriever-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. This goofy marshmallow of a dog is Leopold! He is a beautiful, yellow, Labrador mix and is around 2 years old. Sweet Leopold did not have the best life before coming to Labs and More. He came in underweight with a dirty, sparse, neglected coat. He also had old scars on his neck where he was most likely chained up. Even so, he had a big goofy grin and warm personality, ready to be friends with everyone he met. Leo has come a long way since being rescued and is ready to find a family who will give him the love and kindness he deserves. He is just getting settled into his foster home and is thoroughly enjoying all the attention he is getting from his foster family, especially the young children in the home. Leo is a super sweet, gentle boy with an easy-going personality. He enjoys playing with toys, especially fetch. He loves his walks and is learning to settle in and walk next to his people. Leopold loves to make new friends and does well with everyone he meets- dog and human alike. This eager to please guy is working on his basic commands in his foster home and is doing great. If you have room in your heart to give this deserving boy a forever home, fill out an application today and come meet him at an upcoming adoption event. This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and to learn the rules of their new home. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, the first step is to complete the Adoption Form on our website at .labsandmore and take some time to review our adoption process. Your adoption includes the spay or neuter, current vaccinations, microchip, and other services provided while in our care. The safety and health of our puppies is priority one, so we only allow approved applicants to meet and handle puppies. Please understand everything we do is for the dogs and conducted by our kind and generous volunteers. We rely solely on donations, and we do not profit from a dog's adoption. Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier-Unknown Mix

Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. This silly girl with the big cheesy grin is Mulan! She is a 2 year old Pit Bull Terrier mix who came to Labs and More underweight and in need of some TLC. Mulan is a happy girl who just wants to soak up all the affection and attention she can get from her people. This little sweetie can be nervous when meeting new dog friends so she would do best as your one and only or with a stable, non-reactive dog. She doesn't like kitties very much and will need a cat free forever home. She also may be a little much for kids with her exuberant personality so we recommend a home with older kids or adults only. Mulan met a non-reactive cat at an adoption event and gave her lots of kisses but was perhaps a little too interested to live with one full time. She is crate trained and house trained in her foster home. Mulan loves to play with toys and give kisses all day long. She likes long walks and has greatly improved her leash skills with her foster family's help. Mulan is a total wiggle bug who just wants to give out love! If you are interested giving Mulan a second chance at a forever home, fill out an application today! This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. Honda

    rescue
    Breed: Mutt
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Cattle Dog / Terrier / Mixed. Meet sweet Honda! This medium-sized cutie is a Cattle Dog and Terrier mix. Her pointed ears, black eyebrows and crooked smile give her quite the unique look. Honda is around 2 years old and about 30 lbs. Honda has quite the story. When her foster mom picked her up very pregnant and ready to give birth, she heard squeaking in the backseat of the car on the ride home and was surprised to see Honda giving birth to 5 chubby cow spotted puppies! This mama took great care of her 5 beautiful pups who have all since been adopted and is settling in well in her foster home in her post parenthood days. Honda gets along well with other dogs in her foster home, but sometimes her rambunctious Cattle Dog nature comes out during playtime and she has to be reminded to dial it back and not play too rough. She loves exploring her backyard, always on the prowl for lizards and gophers. She is a self-proclaimed exterminator and is great at chasing unwanted critters out of the yard. Sometimes she is so fast she can catch them! For this reason, we recommend no small animals or cats in her forever home. Honda is house trained and can be left out and about inside home alone without any issues. She also is crate trained but doesn't need a crate except when she eats. She is still learning she doesn't need to protect her food from her foster dog siblings. Honda is a very sweet girl that loves her people and loves cuddle time on the couch. Interested in meeting Honda? If you are interested in Honda, your first step is to submit an online adoption application! This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. Breed: Labrador Retriever-Pembroke Welsh Corgi Mix
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Corgi / Mixed. This sweet little low rider is Esperanza! She is a 1 year old Labrador mix with something much smaller like a Corgi or Dachshund. Esperanza LOVES everyone she meets and likes to follow people around. She enjoys cuddling and will push her sweet little face under your arm for all the pets she can get and she'll squirm her way onto your lap if you let her. This super sweet girl loves humans best of all and she would prefer to be your one and only dog. Esperanza has learned to shake paws, sit, wait and lay down at her foster home and is looking forward to going to training with you, so she can continue to learn to be the best dog she can be. She walks great on leash and will make a nice running buddy to keep you company while you hit the trails. She absolutely loves fetch and will drop the ball in your lap and WIGGLE her back end until you toss it again! Her favorite toy is an orange nerf football, and she could occupy herself for hours playing with it. Esperanza is house trained and will let you know when she has to go by whimpering by the door. She is also crate trained with treat encouragement and can be left crated while you are away for the day, but also does well in an enclosed area for 3-4 hours. She would love to snuggle on the bed with you, but will sleep on her dog bed. Esperanza is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young dog. We require all adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in their current environment. All dogs and puppies will need time and training to adjust to their new surroundings and learn the rules of their new home. Breed: Boxer-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Shepherd / Boxer / Mixed. There is something about the strength of a mom and Sleigh is one such mom. She arrived within days of delivering, unable to stand due to a broken leg. She was weak and in pain but still delivered and cared for her newborn pups. A loving foster home helped this sweet girl care for her puppies until they were adopted then helped get Sleigh back on her feet. She is now fully recovered and ready for her forever home. We believe Sleigh is around 2 years old and is a Shepherd and Boxer mix with also possibly some Pit Bull Terrier giving her a stockier build. She has a pretty brindle coat and kind loving eyes that will melt your heart. Sleigh is a loyal and steadfast girl who loves her people. She is very easy to have around and would be a great match for a family looking for a lower to medium energy level dog. She is very content with a soft bed and lots of pats on the head. Sleigh has good house manners and is house and crate trained. She is fostered with several other dogs and does great with them all. She will engage in a little playtime but after awhile, prefers to go lay out in the sun instead. Sleigh recently met a nonreactive cat at one of our adoption events and ignored him so we think with time and training, Sleigh could learn to live with a cat. Sleigh's favorite past time is finding her favorite bone and her favorite bed and enjoying some leisurely chew time! Sleigh loves her walks and is ready as soon as you grab her leash. She doesn't need to go very far as long as she gets out every day. Sleigh would be great first dog for a family just starting out or a family who is looking for an easier loving, laid back and enjoyable girl. If you are interested in Sleigh, your first step is to submit an online adoption application. This information is as up to date and accurate as possible for the dog in its current environment. Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. Peru with its sacred valleys and beautiful Rain Forest is a perfect name for this kind and sweet girl. Around 2 years old, Peru has a sacred heart that loves deeply with a spirit of fun blended in. We believe Peru is a mix of Black Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull Terrier. She has a dark lovely shiny coat that reflects light almost like water. Peru is fostered with several other foster dogs and has blended in wonderfully. She is thrilled to spend time with her friends playing and chasing each other around the yard. Peru probably has never been walked on leash before, but this girl has adapted quickly to the fun of going on walks and meets you with a skip in her step when you grab her leash. In her current home she is both crate and house trained and has pretty good house manners. You will have a lot of fun working with and training Peru as she is eager to learn and very food motivated. A smart girl, she is primed for learning new tricks and more than just the basic commands. Peru will make you laugh with her playful spirit and zest for life. There is just not a bad day when you are around Peru. She takes one good day at a time and makes it the best day of her life. Taking her with you camping, hiking, out in the community for walks are all great events for Peru. If you love a dog with a deep love for her family, a skip in her step and a love for adventure, then this is the girl for you. After a fun adventure though, if you are looking for a snuggle buddy, Peru would love nothing more than to sit in your lap, all 50 lbs of her! Posted Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Meet Diamond! Diamond is a darling scruffy 1 year old Terrier Mix!! She is spirited, lively, frisky and just the right amount of mischievousness! Diamond is incredibly loyal, loving and affectionate. Diamond loves to be with her foster mom. She follows her around and wants to be by her side all the time. Posted Breed: Poodle (Miniature) / Bichon Frise / Mixed. Who can resist that face? Tyler is a 10 year old Poodle and Bichon mix. Tyler is a smart, playful, affectionate guy who is looking for someone to spend his golden years with. He enjoys lots of activities—going for walks and car rides, playing fetch, being scritched on his chest or back, suppertime, napping in the sun—but his biggest priority is being with his person. He's looking for a place where someone is home most of the time and he can hang out in the same room with you. He will also want to sleep with you on your bed, because that's what he did with the elderly woman who was Tyler's companion for the first nine years of his life. And he wants your attention all to himself—no other dogs or cats allowed in the house. He loves kids and is super loyal to his people but can be suspicious of new men. It helps if they have treats. Being a good watch dog, Tyler will alert you to the approach of the mail carrier or other potential intruders, so he would do best in a house rather than an apartment. Tyler knows his basic commands, rides calmly in the car, is housetrained, and is well behaved in the house. Labs and More is courtesy listing (C.L.) this dog.
