Breed: American Eskimo Dog-American Hairless Terrier Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Looking for an American Eskimo Dog Mix for adoption near Fort Worth? Falcor is truly one-of-a-kind! This sweet 3 year old male dog is a mix of American Eskimo Dog and American Hairless Terrier. He is fixed, up to date on shots and very healthy. Falcor will be rehomed with all supplies and vet records. Adopt this sweet boy today. This very unique dog weighs about 25 pounds. Falcor needs a very loving home where he can be the only pet. He needs to be in an adults only home with a solid routine. pet-net/american-eskimo-mix-adoption-portland-oregon/ Falcor is being placed for adoption by owner for the following reason: Falcor needs more individualized attention than we can give him with two other dogs. We tried for three years in hopes that it might work out. However, we are now planning to start a family of our own and can no longer devote the same amount of time and attention to Falcor. He has come a long way since we got him, and has become a more well-behaved and happy dog…but he does not have the proper temperament to live around infants or toddlers. Request to Adopt Falcor Here There is a $150 adoption/rehoming fee. Supplies and veterinary records will be included. Questions about Falcor? Call or text (888) 720-3322 or email Falcordog-lover.us. We look forward to hearing from you.

    Izzy #0553

    rescue
    Breed: Golden Retriever-Unknown Mix
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Golden Retriever / Mixed (long coat). Izzy - Female - 6-years-old – GRRALL #0553 Gorgeous Izzy is homeless again, through no fault of her own. Izzy was adopted at eight weeks old and three years later returned when her humans had a baby. GRRALL then took Izzy and found her a new home but she is being returned again as her humans don’t have time for her. We will get Izzy up to date on all her vaccinations and heartworm prevention and a thorough check-up at our vet. We need a great foster and permanent home for Izzy, where she will finally have consistency and true love. She is good with other dogs, untested with cats, likes to swim, and good with older kids. She is a very sweet and loving dog who is loyal to her people, regardless. She is initially fearful of men and needs some time to know they are good people. Once she learns they are okay she is comfortable and affectionate. Izzy can be a bit anxious in new situations, and who wouldn’t be? Izzy needs a home without small children as her current owners report she snapped at a toddler; we don’t know the circumstances or if the child was supervised so her new home must be with older kids who are taught how to properly interact with dogs. Let's help Izzy find her TRUE forever family! If you are interested in adopting Dallas or any GRRALL dog, please read our FAQs (grralliance/faq/) and then submit an application at grralliance/applications/adoption-application/ GRRALL serves the Dallas-Fort Worth/North Texas area. We do not have the resources to adopt outside this region and do not ship dogs. If you are outside our adoption area please contact your local Golden Retriever Rescue, local independent adoption groups, shelters, humane society, or other group to find your perfect forever friend.

Posted Breed: Golden Retriever / Great Pyrenees / Mixed (long coat). Joy - Female - 8-years-old - GRRALL #0737 Joy was pulled from the shelter last weekend. She is estimated to be about 8 years old. She was listed as urgent because she had a temperature of 103 and a mammary tumor. One of our volunteers picked her up and took her straight to the vet to get checked out. No pyometra was seen on X-rays the vet thinks she was just in heat. Nothing immediately life threatening. She had at least three known tumors. The vet aspirated other tumors to see what we’re working with. She also has an ear injection that our vet has begun treating. She had surgery Thursday to have the tumors removed and was also spayed. She is doing well and recovering. She will go to her foster home very soon. Our transporter said Joy is very sweet and laid back. Joy loves to be petted. We will update once we know more about her. If you’d like to help us cover Joy’s medical needs: cuddly/donate/3184638/joy If you are interested in adopting Joy or any GRRALL dog, please read our FAQs (grralliance/faq/) and then submit an application at grralliance/applications/adoption-application/ GRRALL serves the Dallas-Fort Worth/North Texas area. Posted Breed: Golden Retriever / Mixed (long coat). Nova - Female – 1-year-old – GRRALL #0738 Nova is our bright new star, a tiny 36 pound golden mix, neglected for most of her young life. Nova was in severe distress due to untreated infections and hot spots. When rescued by GRRALL Nova’s head was covered with a bloody wrap and her paws wrapped in duct tape, apparently to dissuade her from scratching at her sores. Our transport volunteers are amazing but even with all they have seen this was a heart wrenching job, but they were happy to do it and help this poor dog. Nova is our Princess now and we will do everything possible to treat her illnesses and find her a permanent home with people who will love and care for her forever, not just when convenient. Nova is at our vet now, recovering from a myriad of issues including infected hot spots and skin infection, malnutrition, worms, and more. Amazing but she tested heartworm negative but will be tested again in six months. Nova is reported to be friendly, good with cats, kids, and other dogs, but we will update as we get to know her better. Rest assured Nova is getting the best care available, from this day forward. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Nova or any GRRALL dog, please read our FAQs (grralliance/faq/) and then submit an application at grralliance/applications/adoption-application/ GRRALL serves the Dallas-Fort Worth/North Texas area. Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Allie here, I am a special girl with a special name around these parts. I am really looking forward to finding a family to share my life with. I had a rough start and landed in a really bad place and then I overheard them say that because I became sick while in the shelter I was out of time. I was rescued while in this room called the euthanasia room whatever that means but it doesn't sound good. A volunteer rushed me to the vet and I had an infected uterus which caused me to get a blood infections the veterinarian called Sepsis and was severely anemic and required a blood transfusion. I spent 4 days hospitalized in the ICU at the animal ER. When I was healthy enough I went to a foster home. Fast forward to today which I think its been 8 weeks or so in human time but I am 100% healed and back to my healthy self. I am a real love bug that really loves to snuggle up on the couch with my hoomans. I am potty trained and crate trained but don't really need a crate because I am a good girl. My foster mom says that I have a pretty chill and even personality and not one of those hyper Labs that we have all seen. lolol... There are older kiddos here and other dogs which we all get along really well. Its nice here but a home of my own would be the best thing in my life.

Posted Breed: Golden Retriever / Great Pyrenees / Mixed (long coat). Opal - Female – 2-years-old – GRRALL #0733 Update 12/6/18: Opal is a very sweet girl. She enjoys being close to you while you watch tv. She is house broken. She loves playing with toys. She is still getting used to being in the car, it can be a little overwhelming for her since she probably hasn’t spent much or any time in a car before. ### Sweet Opal is safe now and ready for her new life! Opal is a golden/Great Pyrenees mix, about 2 years old, 60 pounds, gorgeous eyes, and a beautiful white coat. She was found as a stray and never claimed. Our transport volunteer said she is sweet, soft, cuddly, and just loved the attention. Opal is good with both dogs and cats. Posted Breed: Golden Retriever (long coat). Wendy - 8 years old - Female - GRRALL #0727 Update 12/20/18: Wendy had her last heartworm injection today. She still needs to be spayed before she is adoption ready so hopefully she will be looking for her adoptive home in March. Wendy’s foster mom says she is a terrific dog and had a charming personality. She is so joyful. When her foster mom kneels down to love on her she rests one paw on her shoulder and peers deeply into her eyes as if to say “Listen, we need to have a talk.” Wendy is a hoot! She is a bit of a thief and enjoys stealing toilet paper rolls from the bathroom and taking them to her crate. She loves elk antlers and Himalayan chews. ### Wendy came to us from the Texarkana shelter. She was seized by authorities because her family left her tethered outside all the time with no sign of water or food. Despite this lack of care, she is an extremely sweet girl. A huge shout out to her transport angel for picking this girl up and delivering her to GRRALL! She is at our vet now getting the car e she needs until she is ready to move into a foster home. Paws crossed she is heartworm negative! Stay tuned as we get to know her better. Dallas #0735...

    Breed: Golden Retriever
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Golden Retriever (long coat). Dallas - Male – 5.5-years-old – GRRALL #0735 Update 12/20/18: Dallas is very energetic in his foster home. He gets along very well with the other dogs in his foster home. Dallas takes a little bit to warm up to new people. He needs an adoptive family who is willing to be patient and help him adjust to his new life. He startles at loud noises. He enjoys seeking affection and petting. He’ll need some training on helping him learn to greet visitors to the home appropriately, which a trainer can help with. He can sometimes flinch or roll on his back when a hand quickly approaches, so he just needs someone to show him love and patience and help him learn nobody is ever going to hurt him again. He loves to play ball. Dallas appears to be house broken. We are looking for an adoptive home that does not have children or that does not have children who visit frequently. We think the perfect home for him will be a quiet home with another female dog for play and companionship. ### Handsome Dallas is about 5 years old, left at a local shelter by a family who no longer wanted him. Dallas appears to be a classic case of a dog who was loved and well cared for until family dynamics changed and there was no longer time or interest in him or in supervising young children in the family. Dallas was afraid of the vet tech and flinched and ducked his head then rolled on his back submissively when approached, but otherwise was very sweet and friendly and loved the attention he was getting from our GRRALL volunteers. Dallas took treats gently and had no issues with being touched and petted anywhere on his body, knows some basic commands, and rides well in the car. Despite being over 5 years old Dallas hadn’t been neutered but this will be done immediately by our GRRALL vet. Dallas will receive a thorough medical check-up and should be available for fostering-adoption soon. We will work with Dallas to learn more about him, assess and correct his fears, and find the best permanent home match possible, with humans who will love and protect Dallas forever, not just when convenient. If you are interested in adopting Dallas or any GRRALL dog, please submit an application at grralliance/applications/adoption-application/ GRRALL serves the Dallas-Fort Worth/North Texas area. Posted Breed: Golden Retriever / Mixed (long coat). Norman – Male - 9 years – GRRALL #0718 Update 1/1/18: Norman is doing well in his foster home. He gets along with the resident dog. They have become best buds. Norman does not like cats. Norman follows his foster mom everywhere, he is her shadow and she has to be careful or she might trip over him. He also loves to lay on her feet. Norman is very low energy and easy going. He does bark and “talk” to his fosters. He is house broken and will wait by the back door when he needs to go outside. We think Norman would do best in a house with kids over 10 years old. Norman has severe arthritis so he doesn’t get up on the couch very often even though he is allowed. He has not started his heartworm treatment yet. We have been waiting for him to get healthier before starting it. He had begun to show symptoms for prostate cancer. He has been neutered and has an ultrasound scheduled. We will post an update once we know more. ###Update 9/23/2018: One of our amazing volunteers visited Norm at the vet and he was thrilled for the company. Norm is a very friendly boy, loves people and chew toys and attention. He is already looking and feeling much better than just a few weeks ago when he was rescued from the shelter. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Norm or any GRRALL dog, please apply at: grralliance/applications/adoption-application/ ###Welcome Norman, to GRRALL where everyone knows your name! Our new boy Norm is about 9 years old, a stray who was never claimed. Norm is friendly and sweet, so happy to be saved and receive treatment for his arthritis, eye and ear infections, and hot spots. He is also significantly underweight but we have already started him on healthy food and treats. Norm will stay our vet for a few weeks to treat his pains and start him on the road to recovery. No guarantees in life but we are hopeful Norm has many good years ahead of him, in a permanent home to call his own. GRRALL serves the Dallas-Fort Worth/North Texas area.
