Posted Breed: Collie / Mixed. Storms Litter Updated: 03/21/2019 Litter Name: Storms Litter Meet Chrissy! This lovable puppy is about 12 weeks old and about 15 lbs. She does great with everyone in her foster family. She has 3 little girls to spoil her and a foster doggie brother to play with and of course her sister Rayne, who is also up for adoption. There are some cats here too, Chrissy chases them more so out of curiosity. Chrissy learns very quick and is doing very well with her potty training. Her favorite pastimes are: Playing with the other dogs, chewing bones and squeaky toys, and snuggling up on a nice comfy blanket to nap, she isn't much of a lap dog but will lay down for a nice tummy rub. She sleeps through night in her crate. She doesn't mind being by herself outside and is the quiet one of the bunch. She LOVES walks and is working on leash manners. And she stays near her foster brother & sister at the doggie park. She is learning that baths are okay since half of her coat is white and gets muddy pretty quick because she loves to play outside - and well, spring in WI = muddy back yards & doggie parks means lots of baths! She will really make a great loving addition to her furever home. If you are considering adopting Chrissy I would put your application in soon :-) Adoption Fee: $475.00 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. Posted Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Updated: 03/21/2019 Hi, I'm Malone! I am about 5 months old and weigh 30 lbs. If you want to cuddle *and* play, then I’m your dog! I love morning and mid-day walks, and enjoy meeting and playing with two-legged and four-legged friends. You should have seen the fun I had playing with my Georgia buddies at the Petco adoption event. At night, I go to my crate when my foster dad says, “kennel.” And it’s no problem if mom and dad have to be gone for a good chunk of the day, I just hang out in my crate. I can go all night without having to go outside. No problem! When it’s time to relieve myself, I simply go to the door and someone lets me out so I can do my business. (I even did this at my foster brother’s house who lives on the second floor.) When I arrived from Georgia, I was pretty stinky, so mom and dad gave me a bath. No big deal. I just stood there while they made me look and smell handsome. Dad and Mom play with my toes, ears, mouth and eyes. I don’t mind this at all. I have a good appetite and like to drink water. I’ve been on a couple 2-hour-long car rides and did just fine. I really like to play fetch. (You’ll be impressed that I drop the ball when I return it to the ball thrower.) This helps me burn some energy. Plus, I’m smart. You’ll like how I follow commands. They tell me I'm in training to meet my furever family - could that be you?!? Posted Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Updated: 03/08/2019 Hi there! Are you looking for a happy, energetic, young, small dog to add to your family? Well then you’re in the right place. My name is Ned and I’m approximately 6 months old and weigh about 20 lbs. They say I’m a terrier mix. I’m on the small side but I have a long body, a big heart of gold and gorgeous eyes. My foster Mom says that I put a smile on her face every day as I investigate the world around me. Since I’m young, I’m very curious and I use my mouth to explore things. My Foster Mom is teaching me what I can put in my mouth and what is off limits. She says that I’m a quick learner. I love, love, love to play with my toys. When I get bored with one, I move on to another. I also like to run after my Foster brother (a 7 year old, 70lbs boxer mix). He doesn’t always join in my play, but he lets me dance around him. Because I can get very excited, I’d be best in a house with school age kids or older. I spend the day in the crate when Foster Mom goes to work and at night. She says that since I’m still learning house manners, its best to avoid temptation when I’m alone. If you think we could be friends, please fill out an adoption application and come see me. I’ll be waiting. Adoption Fee: $450.00 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. I sleep quietly in my kennel overnight, and I've almost got this house-training thing figured out, the warmer weather is definitely helping with that. I also love to snuggle and eat!!! Food is so wonderful and I think everything is food! Well, I am just a cute adorable dog. I need a furever family to teach me about being a family dog. I will love you and your kids. I am so smart, you will not believe how fast I will be part of your family. Just look at the video that my foster family took while I was so busy having fun! Posted Breed: Airedale Terrier / Mixed. Updated: 3/18/2019 **WE ONLY ADOPT TO SPECIFIC AREAS OF WISCONSIN - NO EXCEPTIONS - GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO SEE OUR ADOPTION MAP** My name is Bailey; I am a tall, beautiful girl who is 1-2 years old and about 75 lbs. I have all of the traits of my breed - I am intelligent, independent, strong minded, and can be stubborn. I need a family that is familiar with my breed or has had similar experience with these traits. Ongoing professional training will be essential to help me become and stay a wonderful companion for your family. I also have the type of coat that requires professional grooming done every 6-8 weeks, and will need daily brushing. I actually don’t even mind a bath; that means the attention is all mine!!!! I love to be pampered. Now what girl does not love a spa day? Do you have a friend who likes to play??? I am a young silly dog who loves to play and I have tons of energy. I am a big girl and I throw myself around and have an in-your-face play style, which the older dogs in my foster home are still getting used to. With their help I am learning about doggy boundaries and when and where it’s time to play, but I still have a ways to go. If you don’t have a dog that’s ok too, I am just as happy playing catch, going on walks/runs or chewing on a bone. But you better be ready to give me all of the exercise I need (and I need a lot)! I do like kids, but I am still jumping up and mouthing, which kids may not find very fun. I have been told I do very well on a leash, so walks or runs would be fun to do. I stay close to my humans, so we are both safe. And car rides - I LOVE THEM!! I went on a long road trip with my foster family, and I was a perfect angel as long as I had something to chew on and some snacks. Oh, I am NOT good with cats - nuff said. I only use the potty outside, it would not be lady like to do it in the house. I will go in a crate, if I must, but once the lights are out I know it is time for my beauty sleep and will go fast asleep. If I am left alone, please leave me with something to do in my crate, or I will find my own ways to pass the time - and I'm betting you won't like it. When I first got to Wisconsin, things were so new and I was so scared, it took me a while to come out of my shell and show my personality. I am now told that I have my confidence back and glow like the gorgeous girl I am. My foster mom has been working on my manners and social skills, I am relearning things that I had forgotten about like wait, stay and come. When you are scared, those are hard to remember, but I have always sat pretty for a cookie. I really need a strong and experienced leader that lets me know exactly how I should behave, so I can just relax and be a well-behaved doggy. If you will make me your forever girl, I promise to work hard at being the best friend you will ever have!!!! Put in your adoption application, I would love to meet you! Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Bulldog / Mixed. Updated: 3/19/2019 Meet Dannie!! She's about 7 months old and weighs about 20 lbs. She's a high bundle of energy and is always either on the move, or snuggled up and sleeping. She's still working on jumping up, and is doing the puppy nips - her foster family is working on that. She's good in her crate, we are working on house-training but she hasn't mastered ringing the bell. She's down to about 1 accident every two days so she's getting very close. She enjoys car rides and knows how to behave herself. She loves to play fetch and will even bring you back the ball! She plays well with other dogs, and she's good with cats but is still learning not be too rough with them. She loves going for walks and doesn't pull on her leash. And she adores her people, she loves to give kisses and snuggle in your lap. She's always looking out for her family - she's already proved to be a great watchdog! Posted Breed: Cattle Dog / Terrier / Mixed. Batman Villains Litter Updated: 3/18/19 Litter Name: Batman Villains Litter Hi my name is Ivy, I just turned 1 and I’m 40 pounds. Look closely, I have the most beautiful eyes, one is blue and the other is hazel! I've been to a couple of adoption events, the first one was small and calm, and I did really well! The next one was big and noisy and I didn't like that at all, I got nervous and warned everyone to stay away. So I'm not the type of dog you can take to a lot of public places. I'm super smart and will test my boundaries, so I'm not the right dog for a first time dog owner. I get along well with other dogs and do well at doggy daycare. I know all my basic commands. I’m house and crate trained for when you're gone. I get to sleep with my foster family at night, which is wonderful! I LOVE being outside and love walks or going for a run. I have lots of energy, love to play, most of all love being with people! I love kids (they love to play and throw things for me to fetch), and playing with other dogs is fun too!! I Look out for my peeps and will notify you if anyone comes around (I bark only to alert you). So excited to meet my forever home. ❤️❤️❤️ XOXO IVY Adoption Fee: $450 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out.

Posted Breed: Shepherd / Mixed. Updated: 3/18/2019 I am called Athena, like the Greek Goddess. I am about 3 years old and weigh about 60 lbs. I have adjusted awesomely to living in Wisconsin. In fact, this stuff you call snow is really cool! I like eating it and running in it and when you throw it up in the air, I jump and try to catch it in my mouth. What fun. I may not be a puppy anymore, but I'm still working on my impulse control, I like to do things when I want and am learning that's not allowed. I am a fun girl who likes my chew toys, and especially tennis balls! I also will fetch or just walk around with a toy in my mouth, bring it over to you and then turn and walk a few steps away, ha ha. I don't do that cuddly lap thing some dogs do (I'm a shepherd, after all), but I do like your attention - petting, hugs (not too long), belly rubs, back scratches and just talking to me. I will give kisses and take treats nicely. I am house and crate trained. I don't counter-surf, but if you go outside for too long, I might check out what is up there and have a taste or two or three. I figure you left it for me, right? I know the basic commands and would love to learn more, formal training classes are definitely needed so that my forever family & I build a good relationship. I'm super smart and have figured out how to open doors and gates, I'm kind of a problem-solver. Not much bothers me - loud noises, the vacuum, the wheelbarrow outside - as long as I get to hang out with my people, it's all good! I like to know where you are and will go find you if you're gone too long. I'm fine with kids but not especially interested in them either way. I really like taking walks, and *love* to run around all over the fenced in backyard. I do like other dogs, it takes me a bit to figure out how we play together, but just give me some time and soon we'll be playing chase and keep away! I do not like cats, or maybe it's that I like cats too much in the wrong way, you know what I mean? When I go outside, I always look up into the trees to see if there are any squirrels running along the branches. Kids don't scare me, however because I'm a bigger dog, I might be a little scary to them, unless they have been around larger dogs. When people see me, they comment on what a nice dog I am. If you have ever wanted a German Shepherd, now is your chance. Here I am, waiting for you. I would love to show you how great I am. Posted Breed: Terrier / Chihuahua / Mixed. Updated: 3/18/2019 Hi, my name is Goliath! Despite my name, I'm actually pretty small - only about 20 lbs. I am a 1-2 year old sweet, gentle, submissive guy. I just arrived in Wisconsin from a crowded shelter in Georgia. I like giving out kisses, and I would LOVE to be allowed to snuggle next to you on the couch. However, I don't make a peep when I'm in my crate (though I don't NEED a crate) and I love dog beds, too. My other favorite activities are playing with squeaker toys and playing fetch and tug. I get along well with both cats and dogs, and I like to run around the yard with my dog friend I made in Wisconsin. My foster mom took me to meet some younger kids, and even though they weren't used to meeting dogs, I was quiet and gentle with them. I met some older kids too, and enjoyed hanging out and getting pets. Overall, though, I'm low-medium energy and love to nap, too. I'm 100% potty trained - I haven't made a single mess in the house since I got here. I don't seem to bark much, even outside. I don't have much of a coat right right now and shiver a little when I am put outside for more than a few minutes, but don't worry, you can dress me up in any sweaters you want. Plus I don't seem to shed much at all so far. I'm very easy to walk because I'm small but I need a little help on my technique - I like to follow behind you. I am a gentleman when I need a bath, and I let the foster lady trim my nails. I have learned sit since I got here, and I'm working on "spin" because I seem to do that a lot anyway. I catch on pretty quick, and I probably could learn a lot of cute tricks because I really just want to please you (and get some treats!). My foster lady says I'm a very good boy and easy to take care of, and I need to find a family who will give me some love and pets.
