Posted Breed: German Shepherd Dog (medium coat). My Adoption Fee is Waived! Hi there, my name’s Namari :) They tell me I am a sweet loving lady. The Shelter is a noisy place, but it's been much easier for me to deal since I moved up to a Habitat. I have had several different roommates that I have enjoyed, but I am patiently waiting for MY turn to find my Forever home. I hope you don't have personal space issues, because I am a HUGGER. I love to give hugs and stare into your eyes, and hope you will do it back. Touch is my love language, so looking for someone who enjoys affection as much as I do. I walk pretty well on leash, though I will occasionally stop to make sure you don't need more hugs ( I certainly never turn them down!). I am soft-natured and gentle, definitely looking for a person who will show me the world is a safe place ( I have been working on my confidence, and have come SO far while I have been here). Oh... did I mention I'm potty-trained ? . Looking for a gentle old soul as a loyal companion? Please ask the nice people who work here to take me to a yard, where we can compare hugging styles and discuss your need to take me home. Ask for Namari :) Namari recently met some social dogs at our shelter but she was too scared to play. We hope as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups she'll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! Check out her playgroup video here: To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
