verifiedPosted Breed: Collie / Golden Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Sadie is a beautiful 10 month old puppy! We think she is Collie and Golden Retriever mix. She is now 45 lbs and should fill out to be about 50 lbs. She loves to run and play! She sits on command and is learning very quickly from a trainer. She has her training sponsored for the next six weeks. Sadie is loving but shes a puppy who is very active. She enjoys being with human companions. She has a puppy issue that the trainer is working on with her, she doesn't like other dogs near her food. Probably she was from a big litter of pups who protected their food, idk. She would be excellent for an active individual or couple! Loves to take walks. Calms down in the house and sits by your side... Until her food issue is corrected we recommend that she be with adults and older kids only. Sadie would be a fabulous family member! Sweet nature girl...

verifiedPosted Breed: Golden Retriever / Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 350.00. Name: Sully Age: DOB Approx. 12/12/15 Gender: Male Breed: Golden Collie x Weight: 35 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes House Trained: Mostly there. Crate Trained: Yes Energy level: Moderate History: Pulled from an animal control Adoption Fee: $350.00 From the Foster: Sully is an amazing dog! He has quickly become comfortable in our home with our busy family, including two small boys and a cat (no small feat, for sure)! He is a wonderful blend of friendly, loving, cuddly, curious, playful, calm and relaxed. He loves everyone and loves attention, hugs, kisses and belly rubs. We are still learning his routine and needs in terms of house training, but think he’ll have no problems once we get it all down. He is mostly house trained and has quickly learned where we’d like him to do his business in the yard. He crates well when we are away, but seems a little anxious if left in a crate too long. Sully likes to go for walks on a leash, but could use some further training so he doesn’t pull. He knows some of the basics, like ‘sit’ and ‘come’ and responds well to corrections. When he gets excited or has energy to burn, he likes to run around super fast in the yard, chase balls and go to the dog park, where he easily gets along with other dogs. After, he’ll snuggle anywhere we let him (currently snuggling beside me as I work from home). Overall, Sully would do best in an active home where he gets plenty of exercise and attention daily and is not left in a crate for long periods of time. Ideally, he’d like if someone was around more often, and we think he’d love another dog pal, or a cat friend also. He would make a great family dog with children of any age (though be careful of little hands during play). Sully is just a sweet love muffin who will jump right into your heart forever.

verifiedPosted Breed: Golden Retriever / Collie / Mixed. Our first step is an application which can be filled out atwww.cvrrescue.org Babe is making progress, but is still a very shy girl. Her foster mom is being patient with her and allowing space. They bond over chicken! She has been spayed and fully up to date. She is looking for a new owner who is willing to work with her. She is good with other dogs and cats. Due to her shyness, a quiet dog savvy home with no little kiddos is a MUST Babe is the older sibling to Rex and Fly. She came from the same hoarding situation and is learning to trust...cheese and chicken. We have no doubt she will know and understand what loving contact is and what daily feedings are all about She is around a year old. This dogs adoption fee is $175which covers the following: spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, dhp/p, rabies, bordatella (agre appropriate vaccines), deworming, and all the care he received while with CVRR. All animals are on flea and tick and parasite prevention for the duration in fostercare. We are an volunteer group, who process the applications so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone and email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process . We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the dog picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee and an adoption contract to be signed. The adoption fees help cover a portion of the care provided to the animals. All dogs and cats are microchipped and all animals adopted out are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. **All of our animals have a lifetime commitment. If for any reason, the adoption does not work out, the cats and dogs are to come back to CVRR, which is a NO kill rescue.*** The foster family and the rescue volunteers will choose the new home based on the best fit for the dog/cat. Our first step is an application which can be filled out at www.cvrrescue.org
