    Nala

    verified

    rescue
    Breed: Labradoodle
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Poodle (Standard) / Mixed (medium coat). Laberdoodle Adoption fee is $150, this dog turned 2 yrs old June 2018 and about 50 pounds Nala was a victim of divorce and it turned her world upside down we found her a wonderful home but, she was simply to much to handle. 45 minute walks and dog park time was not enough to wear this little lady out. She would love to find a home that is involved with dog sports. Nala is a very, very high energy dog at times but is also use to being a house pet and knows how to settle down. She knows most of her basic commands, and is a very affectionate people orientated dog. She should be crated when her family is away since she is destructive when left unsupervised . She is also known to counter surf if there are goodies left on the counter when you are away. She will need a 6ft fence as she can go over 4ft fence. She had kids in her previous home but they where teenagers. She really needs another active male dog in her home to help with her energy level, and a active family that can get her out and on adventures. Doggy daycare would be a good source to drain energy also and with this girl it may be a necessity. The adoption fee is $150.This dog has had its age appropriate Vaccinations brought up to date with Rabies shot (4 m & older), heartworm tested (4 m & older) and/or started on prevention, basic dewormer, spayed or neutered and microchipped by 24Petwatch with free registration , and also comes with 30 days of free 24Petwatch Pet Insurance . Important PLEASE read if interested in adoption: Please submit an Pre-Adoption Application by clicking our logo button below (if visible) or visiting www.petangelsrescue.org to show your interest in adoption (Only submit one app). This questionnaire simply helps inform us if the dog you are interested in might match your families dynamics based on what we have learned about that dog. All of our pets at Pet Angels Rescue are featured on our independent website and can be accessed from our PETS FOR ADOPTION PAGE, you may want to look at others at our facility you like as well. We do not have staffed phones for questions, please visit these pages on our main web site, Before You Adopt & Adoption Process & App. if you don't find the information you are needing please submit a E-mail.

    Breed: Labradoodle
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Poodle (Standard) / Mixed (long coat). Adoption Fee: $200. Thank you for your interest in dog who needs a new home. Adoption can be one of the most fulfilling experiences in your life and especially in the life of your new canine companion. A note to those looking at CPR. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. While we like to know what you like in looks, a dog is more than a pretty face. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families. Our descriptions contain all that we know about this dog today. We'll update as more information is known. Are you looking to adopt within the next 30 days? If so please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and complete the application. You'll find it in the menu on the left hand side. You'll also find a total listing of all our dogs available. Just browsing but interested in poodles and poodle mixes? Please drop a note to applications@carolinapoodlerescue.org with your name, address and phone # and email. We'll add you to our mailing list. thanks the CPR Adoption team Date into Rescue: 2/24/2018 Reason for being in rescue: Sleepy was seized as part of a neglect case and taken to a shelter in GA. Carolina Poodle Rescue pulled Sleepy from the GA shelter. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? She is a bit of a mess. (1) Skin issues -slowly getting better with clean food and conditions. (2) This dog is lightly heartworm positive (HW+). She will be sent home with a year supply of heartworm medication. She is being treated with a method called the slow kill treatment. She takes a monthly Ivermectin based heartworm preventative and needs to be re-tested for heartworms every 6 months. Once she tests negative, then she can take any kind of heartworm preventative; she is not restricted to Ivermectin based only. (3) She also had rocks in her stomach when x rayed in April. Our vet felt they would pass. X rays this Friday. (4) No children under 18. Sleepy needs adults. Weight: 36 lbs Height: 22 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Sleepy has never known what it is like to be a loved member of a family. Given this, she is shy with people. Sleepy needs a patient home with owners who will show her love and kindness to help her build confidence and trust. Sleepy has been raised as part of a pack and would be fine in a home with another dog. She could also be someone's one and only. What is my personality like? Seven dogs were seized in a neglect case and brought to Carolina Poodle Rescue. As there were seven, they were named for the seven dwarves. This sweet girl is Sleepy--though she isn't groggy all of the time as her name suggests. Sleepy is a Labrador Retriever and Poodle mix or a Labradoodle. She is around 4 years old. None of the seven dogs had had much socialization before arriving at the farm but they are coming out of their shells as the caregivers work with them. Sleepy isn't very interested in toys. She probably hasn't had much exposure to them. Sleepy needs training to walk well on a leash. She was not used to doing this so needs an owner who is willing to work with her. Sleepy is still a pretty shy girl. Shy dogs often respond really well to kindness, love, and consistency. It can be a great pleasure to coax a shy dog into a more interactive and social life. Sleepy definitely needs someone who can help show her the good things in life. How do I act when I first meet new people? Shy Other tips and tidbits: We are guessing on heritage but it's obvious there is some poodle in there. The owners did say that one of the first dogs they had was a poodle and the others were all progeny of that dog. Sleepy has a lot of love to give to the right home but she is going to need some love and some patience to get there. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Most of our dogs are at our farm in Pacolet, South Carolina. To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. Thank you for considering CPR.

    Koda

    Breed: Labradoodle
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Senior
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / Poodle (Standard) / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 285. Meet Koda, another of our newest residents at the Mikey & Me kennels. Koda is a 6-8 year old Labradoodle and he weighs 89.6 pounds. He tested neg ative for heart worm on 7/16 and he is taking a monthly preventative. I will calling tomorrow to make an appointment to have him neutered and to ensure he is up to date on all of his shots as well as to have him microchipped. Koda attended an adoption event shortly after arriving at our kennels. He rode well in the car and was the perfect gentleman at the event. He did very well meeting new people, kids included. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $69.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.

He is house trained and knows some basic commands if he will pay attention ..lol...adorable guy Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Doc was seized in neglect case and taken to the shelter. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? skin issues Weight: 30 lbs Height: unknown Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $249 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Doc is still learning what it means to be someone's pet. He needs an experienced owner that will work with him to teach him basic commands, reward him with lots of positive affirmations, and give him the time and support he needs to blossom into the dog he can be. What is my personality like? Seven dogs were seized in a neglect case and brought to Carolina Poodle Rescue. As there were seven, they were named for the seven dwarfs--this is Doc. None of the dogs had had much medical care before coming to Carolina Poodle Rescue. We think that none of them had ever been inside a house before either. All of the dogs from this situation were listed as miniature labradoodles. Doc is a sweet older guy who can still play like a puppy. He has a great temperament and personality in spite of being neglected for much of his life. In a home with a person or people to love him and provide him with stability and training, he would finally know what it's like to be part of a family. Imagine how he might blossom then! He already knows how to be clean in his crate which is a big step toward housetraining. Doc can be slightly dog selective but he gets a long really well with most dogs. He isn't food aggressive and knows how to politely take a treat when one is offered. We estimate Doc to be around 11 years old but don't tell him that! He doesn't know that he's an older guy. He still has a lot of playfulness in him and is ready to enjoy a whole new life! How do I act when I first meet new people? Friendly Other tips and tidbits: House trained? Date into Rescue: Originally 3/29/16 and he was returned December 2017 Reason for being in rescue: Owner release due to a change in the owner's life Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Yes - behavior. Oliver was adopted in May of 2016 but returned to us primarily for biting several people. He was so friendly when he was first here; we are not really sure why this changed happened in Oliver. He needs someone to understand him. He does not like being bothered while in his crate. To him that is his space and no one else's. He WILL warning growl at you while in his crate to let you know he does not want to be bothered. He also does not like anyone messing with his food. If he is not familiar with you, then he does not like you being in his face. He needs his trust earned before you go romp and play in the fields with him. Oliver has not bitten anyone at our rescue, but he has shown his teeth and snapped when engaging in play with a caregiver he isn't familiar with. With the caregivers he is familiar with he is his normal sweet and silly self outside of his crate. He eventually turns into a dog that loves attention, baby talk, and playing. Weight: 53 lb Height: About 24 in at the shoulder Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? Yes What kind of home would be best for me? Oliver needs an all adult home that has a soft spot for troubled souls and is familiar with moody dogs. What is my personality like? Oliver is a mocking bird, if you are quiet and reserved, he is also quiet and reserved. If you are rough and running around, he is also rough and running around. He notices everything and is very curious. He is extremely loving and playful. Oliver's personality really depends on you. He loves to be a couch potato but he will also go for a long run when you want to. Oliver knows how to sit, shake, and lay down (with a reward of a treat of course! :) ) He loves to go for long walks beside you and then roll around in the grass on his back. How do I act when I first meet new people? Oliver was originally very loving and affectionate to people, but he is no longer as open to strangers and needs patience.
