Upcoming Litter Description
We’re a small Bernese Mountain Dog family in Chattanooga, TN, and our girl Freya Angelina Rose (4 years old) is expecting her very first litter with our loving boy Odyessus (2.5 years old). We have counted 7 beautiful puppies, all raised right in our home with daily love and attention. Puppies will be ready to go home at 8 weeks old. They are $1600, with a $400 deposit to reserve your spot. We do require a short application and a phone consultation so we can make sure each puppy is matched with the right home. Families who reserve a puppy will receive weekly photo updates, optional video calls, and a thoughtful care package when their puppy goes home. Puppies will have one round of shots, early potty‑training practice, and a simple contract for everyone’s peace of mind. We are located in Chattanooga, TN, and we happily offer pet transport for families outside the area. We’re so excited to share Freya and Ody’s first litter with loving homes.

Overview:
The Bernese Mountain Dog is a striking and gentle breed originating from the Swiss Alps, where they were traditionally used as farm dogs for herding, guarding, and pulling carts. Physically, they are large, sturdy dogs with a distinctive tricolor coat of black, rust, and white, known for their expressive dark eyes and powerful build. Temperamentally, Berners are renowned for their calm, affectionate, and loyal nature, making them excellent companions. They are generally good with children and other pets, fitting well into active family life, though their size makes them less ideal for small apartment living without ample outdoor access. While their sweet disposition is a major draw, prospective owners should be aware of certain health considerations, including a relatively shorter lifespan and predispositions to conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia and certain cancers. Despite this, their unwavering devotion and majestic presence bring immense joy to their families.
