Goldendoodle
The Goldendoodle is a mix between the Golden Retriever and the Poodle. This breed is a good choice for families.

English Bulldog
Bulldog
Named for its use in the sport of bull baiting, the English bulldog seems to have originated in the British Isles sometime prior to the 13th century. One of the few references to the sport dates back to 1209, and talks about a butcher's dogs that chased a bull through the English town of Stamford. This pursuit so pleased the earl of the town that he inaugurated bull baiting as a sport in his domain. Today, the English bulldog makes a fine family pet. The AKC recognizes the breed simply as the bulldog.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Cav, Cavalier, Cavie
The Cavalier is very happy to be with children and is very gentle with them. A loyal companion to his owner, the Cavalier needs a lot of exercise to maintain good health.

Siberian Husky
Chukcha, Chuksha
The Siberian Husky is very similar in looks to the Alaskan Malamute, yet somewhat smaller in build and not quite as bold. Still, he needs a strong-willed owner who will stay in control. This dog loves to roam and explore, so he needs a nice big yard.

Rottweiler
Rott, Rottie
The Rottweiler may seem aloof, but he is a brave and intelligent worker. He performs well in outdoor sports and is a faithful companion and guardian.

Akita
Akita Inu, Japanese Akita, American Akita, Great Japanese Dog
The Akita was developed to hunt bears in Japan and, as such, is a great guard dog. They're strong and loyal, often employed by police for active duty.

Springerdoodle
The Springerdoodle is a cross between an English Springer Spaniel and a Poodle (Standard). The Springerdoodle is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing English Springer Spaniel and a Poodle (Standard). Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the Springerdoodle are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. We currently do not have more detailed information for this breed.

Pug
Chinese pug, Dutch bulldog, Dutch mastiff, Mini mastiff, Mops, Carlin
The Pug is one of the oldest breeds of dogs and has flourished since before 400 BC. China is the earliest known source for Pugs, where they were pets of the Buddhist monasteries in Tibet. The Pug is a family favorite. Full of confidence and always eager to please, this dog makes a great playmate for children and a loyal addition to the family.

French Bulldog
Bouledogue Français, Frenchie
The French Bulldog is low key and enjoys lots of activity. He's well suited for either family living or attaching to just one special person. He can be a great watchdog, although will bark only when there is a real need.
