Penny found herself as a stray at a local shelter with two broken legs. We assume she was hit by a car as is often the case, but don’t really know. Her surgery is behind her and she is now looking for a Foster or Forever home. Due to the extensive nature of her breaks and the surgeries, Penny may never have a perfect gait again but she walks perfectly fine and GREAT on leash. But she is the sweetest petite 2 year old lab mix you could ever hope for. Even at the shelter with two broken legs she was still wagging her tail for the staff. She is a little shy at first but will warm up and ask for pets. Let’s find this little girl the perfect home where she can be loved and cherished forever more.
