All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant. Hounds! Such wonderful, loving, goofy dogs. And here is Hank, sweet right down to his red feet. How could he ever have made it into a rescue and not be beloved by his family? Well, Hank was born into a hunting family , but he refused to hunt. He didn't want to hurt any other animal! So, sweetness or not, he had to go. Here is what his foster has to say about him; "Hank, low key calm guy. Not bothered by other dogs at all. Doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive." He just wants to be a good ole boy and be loved. Because he is a hound, we are asking that his adopter have a physical fence to keep his nose from following any special scents. Hank alos needs another friendly dog to help him get comfortable in his new home. We have made sure he has all his shots , so he is ready to be your own special boy.
